wedding track is coming up, I am sure there will be lot of high TRP romance during the wedding time

Whether they will actually get married on not, pata nahi!

Arshi, I am amazed by your ability to spot the theme in every episode where lesser mortals just see a bunch of disjointed scenes..👍🏼

"pyaar mein paagal" is surely a suitable theme for the CB thread where we have recently declared our collective insanity, and our "deeper than the ocean, higher than the mountains" dedication to this show...😉

The moments that stood out for me were-
Chulbul's outing as father-of-two, and Gumaan is still pushing to spoil Kumari's life just to see Dugba unhappy!

Gumaan's OTT excitement at the news of Danny's arrival, and her total unawareness of how the Desai's were not exactly sharing her feelings. Why have they written Gumaan's character so poorly one-dimensional, it doesnt match any of the detailing that other characters have. They seem to have lavished attention on dressing her up in amazing saris, but the character rings hollow at every stage😕

Am a bit tired of seeing Saras the love-sick puppy. His character has a lot more gravitas than that. Just because GR is a versatile actor, they should not be careless with the essence of the lead character. Just my humble POV.

You are so right happychappy, I would have loved to see a complex twisted grey Guman, rather than this stereotypical cardboard character, but sadly neither the writing nor Monica's portrayal seem to rise upto that.

Witch is why none of us is able to understand LN's blindness towards Guman's true face, since she has no other "sides" or dimensions to her

Saras - yes, even, Mandy made the same point, I think it's just that Saras Kumud story is at a standstill at this point, their scenes the last two days have been fillers.

So, I think next week we should see something more, with the wedding track coming up.

Agreed.

Hey, was wondering where you were yesterday.

@ bold - yes, yes,! I was trying to not be the first one to say it here. 😆 The story should move forward a lot more next week with more Samud scenes as well.

Jen was at some SPA rehearsals last week and the previous week she had a few days off for her birthday so CVs are managing with what they have.

Guman might be the only telly world vamp whose plans backfire and bring people she is out to spite even closer, not just Samud. I love that aspect in the story. 😳 The next time she is successful in her plans might be the time she manages to separate Samud, unfortunately. Will her wife/GF getting more importance than mother dialogue to Saras have some impact on that track?
Her track with LN should be shown soon hopefully answering a lot of our queries. But Guman showing up everywhere to eavesdrop on conversations or witness an incident to use as a weapon is getting tedious now.

Is there Danny Kumari romance on the cards?

That would be an interesting twist!

Per the spoilers, Kumari is the first person Danny will meet when he arrives in Ratnanagari. I thought it might be a hint of their pairing in the future. Interesting track indeed.

And some of us are still waiting for the darn Sunny-Kusum track to start. I going to plug that as often as I can!😆

Yes, Gumaan is like a designer-clad crutch for the CV's...
She is a spurious version of the all-knowing, omnipresent and invisible force... 😆

Re: Arshi's questioning (yesterday?) of the Saras-Gumaan relationship, I think that has been better delineated than her other facets. Having been at the receiving end as a child, Saras probably knows as much as anyone about her fakeness. At every possible juncture, CV's have shown the diametrically opposite way in which he interacts with Dugba (and more recently, Guniyal) whom he recognises as mother-figures in the same mould as Saraswati; and then the way he behaves with Gumaan, full of correctness but cold through and through... If you remember, for LN's birthday party in Dubai, he went out of his way to wear a different suit from the one Gumaan chose for him. It was as if the CV's wanted to rub it in...😆

Now that he's broken free of the isolation Gumaan placed him in by withholding love and warmth, I dont know how charitably he will behave towards her in future... Saras seems to be too evolved a character to harbour grievances and pettiness. I think he will always show her the minimum external courtesy due to her position, so long as she does not cross the line like when she made that remark about Kumud being "a-pavitra", and he showed her her place!

Edited to add- the only time LN made a remark that you could see as critical of Gumaan was when he told VC that although his house in Dubai ws enormous, he had not been able to build a "real" family... damning as you can get when the woman in charge is his own wifey dear!
