I felt today's episode had SLB written all over it. I like that he ventured into a topic like this, and the way that the whole thing was depicted on-screen was beautiful. The exchange of garlands, the euphoric way SaMud were looking at each other, Kumud's baat baat par sharmaana. It was all done very well, and I gotta give it up to the director for juxtaposing these scenes with Sejal and her husband getting married - showing that Saras and Kumud aren't technically married, but have given each other their souls for not just one, but 7 lives.
Kumud's reaction the next day was also very realistic, one of the things I love the most about SC. No matter how modern or bold she is, at the end of the she is a village girl with deeply instilled values. While she might have gone against these in the heat of the moment, it is completely natural for her to feel guilt and remorse the next day. Saras also had a very realistic reaction as well - he was raised in Dubai, and so his views aren't as biased as Kumud's. He stands by what he did and says to Kumud very clearly - you will not have to face this alone. Are these guys soulmates or what? 😳
Another thing I loved - when Saras asked her if she had such little faith in his love, his pyaar, she automatically shook her head. Even in this frantic, guilt-ridden state she made sure to let Saras know that she trusts him with all her heart. ARE THESE GUYS SOULMATES OR WHAT? 😆
