Ok I saw her reaction to Gumaan's words. Yes she was thoughtful but not hyper. The precap is related to something else, I'm sure it is and the only thing that comes to my mind is that Saras-Kumud have been intimate.

I think , saraswatichandra after publicly asking for kumud's hand, Kumud getting impressed and meeting him, they getting intimate, she will feel the guilt, of she has broken the trust of her parents, she will seek forgiveness from her mother, accepting what she did. This I presume should be before Guman can spill the beans.

We saw Kumud last in the scene with Guman. So i think it will be related to that itself. Kumud somehow starts feeling that she has done a mistake i guess 😕
