kumud fell in love with saras (or at least the idea of saras as the love of her life) from the very beginning when she had the dream...she was convinced the person with the eyes is her true love...she agrees for the marriage just by seeing his eyes...

that went for a toss when saras refused and in the entire track which happened later...she had just buried her feelings deep and refused to even consider the possibility...what i am saying is that her love was unconditionally present from the beginning, buried and now out again...she took so many hits (the dialogue), yet continued to love him..

saras did not love her unconditionally, he made her run through the paces, refused to acknowledge (for the right reason because of his childhood trauma)...but his love was slightly conditional...even now he gets angry when she simply refuses to get jealous...imagine his reaction if she pulled a stunt like he did...

while its early days...kumud will end up sacrificing more just because she loves him more...and that's the way it goes in the novel too...

but this is a good hypothesis to park for now and evaluate as we progress further...

Wouldn't they have zeroed in on some key passages during their research? For this was too close to believe a coincidence...Look at the elements; water, symbolic image, 'indelible' dialogue in previous episode...then actual etching of S by Saras. And then, Kumud absorbing the stamp reverently in front of Gods. The scene frozen at the end and repeated in next days opening...

Hope, they come up with a powerful sequence based on a passage showing other side of Equation; Her effect on Him.

BTW - can I get a high five here? Kumud was not envious but extremely secure of their love. Kumud with her upbringing is a more secure and confident person than Saras. She understands her dobo and his innocence really well too. He needs more time, love and patience to get to where Kumud is emotionally. His aggression by the pool surprised me a bit though. Today he got confirmation that Kumud always loved him despite his rejection, shattering of her dreams and heart.

Beautiful post and that song describes Kumud perfectly. The author wrote a beautiful character in his novel and Jen essays a never before seen character on Indian telly amazingly well. Old world romance, passion, intensity all tastefully portrayed, Gautam and Jen mindblowing as always, no Guman, Dukhba showing affection to Kumari - what an episode❤️

It really feels good to watch Samud smile and laugh together more so maybe because we know it is short lived.

Is TFC on the check list of 10 ways to increase TRPs? Not needed here in SC.

Did they have to show Guman in the precap?🤢 They brought us crashing down after atta romance so now a part of me is dreading tomorrow.

Kusum calling Saras bhai is not enough to allay my apprehensions. In Gujrat, adding a bhai or ben to someone's name is adding a tittle just like Mr or Ms. It does not necessarily mean you consider them bhai or ben. Samarth can explain this better than I can. 😃 😳

The pool scene was interesting, finally a unique romance SLB style. Saras frustrated and just wants to vent out his anger, felt like he wants to actually shake her and ask her are you human but instead of that splashes the water at her in anger and the writers surprised me here with Kumud's response. After some days loved the dialogues today, well written. Saras is not a confident person like Kumud and his lesson starts here.

Saras wants her to write his name in her hand, she asks him to leave but he says I can't go. I am not ready to read much into that scene, just want to enjoy the romance in that scene for now. A very well directed scene, passion oozing in that one kiss as if he stamping her saying you are already mine.

Nandy, even I am happy she didn't dance with anyone t make him jealous, don't know why they changed the track. Kumud seems to be confident of her love and Saras seems to need more assurance. Either it can be that he has never got anyone's love for himself and doesn't still know someone can love him wholeheartedly without any want from him or like Arshi is saying is it hinting for future. But I can't accept the fact that somewhere in future Saras doesn't believe Kumud loves him with her heart, not after today. Let us see this week how it goes.
