Waise, why is he not 'declaring' to the Elders? His intentions? Wud it not make them only too happy and acquiescing? But of course, CVs wud be denied element of a sneaky, clandestine romance!

@ bold - true and also gives an opportunity for drama and misunderstandings later.

Waisa bhi, sneaky clandestine romance is always exciting for the couple in question and in this case the viewers.

And I don't mind it either, as long as he does not falter on 'respect' to her womanhood/feelings all is ok, even 'non declaration' or fight for his father. But moment he chooses to be righteously arrogant, he is OFF...fortunately none of such nonsense with that self admitting 'thanks' to 'some one' who brought him back to his father, he all graceful...right Nandy ji ( may I call ?)😊

Yes you may Samarth ji, without the ji though😃

I think respect for all is very ingrained in Saras, an integral part of him, his sanskaar. So unless the CVs or TRP mata suddenly decide to make unpalatable changes in his character, respect for Kumud's womanhood or feelings should always be a part of the equation.

Public avowal or in private to the parents is either being delayed for future drama or the thought has not occurred to Samud yet who are still processing this exciting new stage in their relationship. Lets see what turn it takes. My guess is almost always wrong though.

The 'thanks to someone who brought him back to his father' was more for drama I believe. And thank her he did by making her dream come true. That was the first time that something Dikra did or said had brought such joy to Kumud.

On several occasions he was way off. For me at least; at plough scene, the vehemence he shows in rudely telling her off...A streak of latent arrogance in all, 'you called me' ( as if, I was not coming otherwise!)... 'Umid he jazbaato ki duriya bane rakhogi...( again an arrogant vein at back) or several condescension he sends her way ( like chhash retort)...yes this is very subjective, and perhaps hyper about Kumud😳...but then again, I didn't find him any disrespectful in that shout, " Jao yanhanse se, abhi ke abhi..." There was worry in it...
if you can see what I am meaning...😕
As for that soliloquy 'thank' on courtyard cot, I don't think it was for public drama. It was first gratitude that he admitted openly to 'himself' that came about...not only for 'father-son' bonding, that was symbolic, but for much more- a magic that she has performed on HIM...as I see.😊

Ha! Cosmos ji, this Sunday, I have been so ardently defending Kumud on Arshicritic's (hotdogg's) 'TRP...' Thread, that I felt, I should restrain somewhat. But don't wonder Jenny won't let me go silent for more than one or two episodes!

Now Kumari track, was that other man...Kumari's dad?...and what wud be the purpose of this track? To chasten Desai's over extra leniency? And get them panicked into 'marry off' the eldest??😕

I dont think anyone is going to deny you the privilege of defending or championing Kumud😆Kumari's track?? I dont think that it can be linked to eldest marrying off simply because it would be completely against VC, DB and Guniyal's character if they succumb to this kind of pressure...DB, we know would always side with Kumud, and I hardly think that she would be so keen to forgive her daughter and make Kumud the scape goat, VC we know would never tell Kumud anything that would be against her will and Guniyal...Well she was the one who told Kumud "yoou have the right to say no"...so unless either Kumud herself becomes the scapegoat willingly, or the CVs have decided mass character butchering, I dont think that is the ploy, may be this is a plan to get who DB actually married...I personaly think that this is a substitute plot to the original novel story of Guniyal's peehar😕😆

Ha, creative liberty... that is why the atta only fell on her, he dusted off the little that fell on his arm.😆

He was his usual self, making jokes and cheerful when he talked about the possibility of a kiss. He would not have mentioned it if it was only a possibility. Dukhba was sitting right behind him at that time, she laughed too.

Waise, people in love should have a buzurg like her in the house, who will cover up for their midnight clandestine rendezvous, will sit with her back to the romancing couple etc and order them to - 'kaam nipta ke aayo',😉 So Dukhba your agyakari bachas are following your orders🤣

When I read the atta fell on her...I was like what was he doing all the time...and when I saw he was right behind her while taking the dibba, I wondered how will she manage it all on herself! But I saw that the flour flowed consistently on her head😆 without even glancing at Saras😆
Oh Raginiji was there...I so love her...She is one of the prettiest Gujarati actress...

Oh about her being the cupid...I had rofled when I saw her telling Kumud, who was leaving for her school date, not to hurry back...with Guman fuming her ears out🤣
Waise I posted a parellal of that banjo bajao scene on the NL if you wanna read😆

I agree wiith Nandy on this aspect...It is just like a day or so in the Ratnanagri clock that they have avowed...some time for courtship toh banta hai😆 and now it will be difficult for Saras to go and talk to his dad..especially now since he would have to eat his words and tell him...You were right, Dad!!
And also the factor that LN is nowhere to be seen these days😕 Wonder if he is out to find another Goooman😆 Beta shaadi se mana kar raha hai toh mein hi teesri shaadi kar leta hoon!!

But to the extent of Women's propriety...I agree with Samarth...Saras has been quite rude and callous at times...I remember him pushing her at the pottery wheel. and also behaving proprietal when he had said no to her...playing with her feelings...he might not have done it consciously ..but fact remained that his inner angst, at one point of time had made him selfish!! or may be a bit self centered...he has changed...opened up..but come a big adversity, and we will know what he actually can face...I am sure he wont ditch her or anything...but preserve her dignity he must!
