The beauty of this show lies in it's simplicity. Simple settings, simple dialogues, simple moments that touch your heart. I have had some issues with the gau-hatya track, the way the mortgaging of the house and handling of the business in Kumud's name was executed. I have seen far worse in other shows. In the name of creative liberties and for the track to move forward, one can overlook the annoyance for the sheer brilliance we get to watch at other times.

I have been fan gurling all over the forum today over the garba scene but I have to admit today was one of the best episodes ever from the dialogues to the portrayal of the relationships be it VC and Kumud or VC and Gun and ofcourse our Samud.

All the characters have been well conceptualized and portrayed by the actors.Although I dont know the purpose of Guman's sister in the show besides Guman having someone to discuss her evil plans. I wonder if Sunny will make a come back.

Anyhoo, wonderful post.

Surprisingly our forum does not have a symbolism thread😛

Vaishu, did you notice they showed Saras watching VC put sindoor in Gun's maang and the camera pans from Saras to Kumud right after that? Did I imagine that from my bubble or was that symbolic?

I am loosing it today.

True that! I have watched shows where a lot of times romance looks forced eventhough I have admittedly enjoyed the moments..here the scenes are very well written and the romance doesnt look forced and exaggerated..which is what I like the most..I think thats why we enjoy those little moments even more.. I personally thought the gau hatya track was more to achieve few things than just a track to keep Saras in the village.. One of them being, the change of heart Dukhba had after that incident.. One would have expected her to blast Saras for hurting Kumud, rejecting her and all that knowing how much she loves Kumud.. Look at Dukhba now.. she not only showed Saras the right way but also saw the whole thing from his perspective..she understands that he has to stay to undo the wrong he has done otherwise he wont be able to live with such a big burden on his conscience.. Second thing this track achieved was ofcourse the bonding of Saras n Kumud..she can never call him selfish again like she did on a couple of occassions before the incident and he also saw a whole new side of her personality ..not just the arrogance and pride he saw when he first came.

I agree all characters, except that side kick to Guman are very well written.. specially VC, Dukhba , Guniyal other than Saras Kumud ofcourse..I was telling Sanju the other day, I wish Sunny comes soon..I think him and Kumari can make a cute cupid team :D

Excuse me while I phangurl over this beautiful couple. They are undoubtedly THE most gorgeous looking jodi on television right now and their chemsitry is phewww!! They aren't just cute, they aren't just sensually sexy...they are undeniably and classically romantic. They have this old world charm which is sorely missing.

The 'Albela Sajan' moment was so ethereal. The girl is losing her heart more by the day for her sajan 😳 The Garba sequence...now that IS ROMANCE for me! When the hero makes the heroine feel beautiful yet conscious at the same time. His subtle gesture to pull her hair back had my heart silently jumping up and down. Later with the net the way she looked at him through it *sigh* They are damn dreamy!

They're just too beautiful Vaish!

And so is your reply Reema !I have always been a fan of classic period dramas.. This show is on those lines and I am loving every bit of it..The fact that they both are so ''beautiful'' makes everything they do so much more appealing to the eyes. The way Kumud smiles at him when Albela Sajan plays was like a happy proud moment for her..Of all people ''he'' did it..he who I love..It was beautiful.. and their moment during the garba dance was just outta the world..how tuned are they??!!!! he signals, she catches..she obliges,he smiles..hayeee me diesss! LOL Oh and they looked extra gorgeous through the net..big beautiful eyes staring through the net..damn! I like all versions of the title track..male, female, duet, aalap..all of them!

Whenever I watch HDDCS, I always think how utterly gorgeous Salman and Aish were together and it honestly does make the chemistry even more crackling when the leads are this good together.

He who I love...yep yep! She does and so does he. Soulmates never have a start or end time of when they fall in love. They always are in love and it's for us to watch that intense love story unfold.
