Today I had mixed feelings seeing the episode so thought will write it out.

VC - I always have found him the best but today don't know. I don't want to go into his acting everyone has commented on it, so the reasons for his shouting. After thinking I felt he had heard a horrible news from "GUMAN" of all the people, his daughter whom he thought the world of and shared everything with didn't trust him enough to tell him such a big thing and on top of that his wife whom he shared all his burden didn't share his daughter's burden with him. A father's faith is broken and a husband's trust is broken. His life is completely shattered in that moment.

Guniyan - I am not going to support her in any way. She is a matured woman and a mother, how could she point a finger at Saras and Kumud when she was at bigger fault. She knew everything from first and she couldn't get the courage to stop anything which happened.

Saras - Though you are not at fault, how long are you going to run like this ? Every time something happens in your life you run away rather than face it. Hope this time you face the music and stand upto Kumud rather than run away from everything which is what Guman is expecting from you.

Kumud - She is a bit at fault, could have told her father long time back rather than thinking he will be broken. Now he is more broken but she didn't see this happening. She who loves her dad the most and hid the truth so as not to hurt her dad is broken completely since she has hurt him more. Her tears are for her dad and on the other side hearing her mother tell Saras to go away. She can't bear to see him go away. Her pain on both sides are unbearable.

Dukhbaa - She really surprised me today. I was expecting her to start hating Saras, scold Kumud and Guniyan for everything but she was the pillar for the house. Loved the way she stood upto Guman and the way she hinted to Saras not to make the same mistake LN had made. Kudos to you 👏

Guman - What can I say about this lady, the WRITER, DIRECTOR and VIEWER of today's episode, for the first time subtly stood on one side and watched what she had wrote and directed. I have to give you a star for the shattering moment you gave in everyone's life. ⭐️

Precap - As expected Guman wants Saras to step back as he has created all the problems in this house, her way of pushing him so others will say he ran away. Now it is upto Saras, let us see if he is really a man to stand upto his mom since he knows she is behind everything or will he run away from everything. I feel he will stand up to Guman and Guman's plans again backfires.

Interesting perspective.

I have already mentioned what I feel about the episode in some other thread so i will say it here again:
Honestly, I loved VC today. He spoke and yelled like a father. The last line was a tad bit OTT when he yelled 'dekhna padega Kumud' just that part though. Rest all made sense to me. His hurt and his anger was justified.

Guniyal, God that lady was right about only one thing, VC can still forgive Kumud and he eventually will, but he isn't going to forgive her for breaking his trust like this.

My heart went out for Kumud. Can just everyone stop hurting her for a bit? Was it really necessary to ask Saras to leave just when everything is so messed up?

Saras babua was a disappointment today. I was hoping he would man up! Does he remember that he told Kumud that she wouldn't be in this alone?

But then again this was a matter between VC and her daughter. But still he could've said something.

Overall the episode was entertaining enough. Just a little action by Saras would've made it a fantabulous episode.

About Dukhbaa- I was equally surprised at the way she behaved. She said she hopes that Saras wouldn't hurt her Kumud like she was hurt... urrmmm hasn't he already hurt her? I honestly didn't get the conversation she had with Saras.

Jammy, I think what Dukhbaa meant was LN might have encouraged or hinted that he was going to marry Dukhbaa but in the end he left her and married Guman. The same way she didn't want Saras to give hopes to Kumud that he likes her and then leave her to suffer an ever lasting pain like she has suffered. That is what I felt.

Father feeling hurt, OK, life shattering ? disagree a bit here, I expected hurt, confusion and sensitivity, not this rage

Guniyan - I am not going to support her in any way. She is a matured woman and a mother, how could she point a finger at Saras and Kumud when she was at bigger fault. She knew everything from first and she couldn't get the courage to stop anything which happened.

Totally agree here

😡with Saras today

Kumud - She is a bit at fault, could have told her father long time back rather than thinking he will be broken. Now he is more broken but she didn't see this happening. I too felt really bad for her today, poor baby

😊 Loved her warning to Guman

👏 Well said, she was the mastermind here and happily stayed in the background enjoying the tamasha

Precap - As expected Guman wants Saras to step back as he has created all the problems in this house, her way of pushing him so others will say he ran away. Arshicritic, when I meant life shattering not that it is not mendable but shattering the basis of his life. His life was based on showing off his proud daughter who has always followed his teachings, proud that he has given his daughter the best principles that everyone praised always. But today it was like that base itself is broken, she had broken the principles by lying to him. When you say hurt, sensitivity it differs in people. He was hurt that Kumud did like this and thinking that all what he thought had broken the next emotion s rage. I am not saying about the way he shouted, didn't like that but his emotions were right. Hope it makes sense.

Lets see VC till now:

His friend dumped his sister, but he stood by both his sis and friend

During Gau hatya - he just knew that Saras was innocent and stood by him

He knows now that Yash was at fault, but did not condemn or judge him

so in my reading he is a sensitive loving man, and he specially dotes on kumud

So that's why that extreme rage didnt gel with me!

or is he that kind of man who has very strict standards for his wife and kids and another set for others - I dont think so!

No he doesn't have different standards for his wife and kids. We have to see what happened about DK & LN. About Gau hat ya, like you are saying he knew Saras was innocent so he stood by him but rememeber his rage when he called Yash to come out. He was angry with Yash and was ready to punish him if it was his fault. When you are saying he is not judging Yash, first thing is he has promised Yash's mother that he wouldn't take any action against him and also sometime has passed which makes the initial reactions bit more softer. Remember the scene where Yash's mother was making all drama about Yash, there also VC did lose his temper but he controlled it as she was elder to him and he didn't want to create any problems at home. So I feel his temper is there but controlled for some people but at it's fullest for his wife and daughter. I think it was that last line and the way he said it which made the scene a bit different, felt like he was only in a rage. Director's or writer's mistake but if you ignore that the rest is about the trust and faith he has lost.

All interesting analysis and viewpoints...about VC...remember the other day he said he is a person who always believes in forgiving. So I am sure this anger and outburst was due to two things - 1) broken trust and 2) broken dreams. Not very much keeping with his character but sometimes these calm ones are people who erupt most.
Saras - he knows he made a mistake in writing the letter and feels guilty for being the root cause of all this trouble. He was at a loss today but will be back to support Kumud and stand by her. He knows Ghuman's true colors and personally I think that he should stop putting up with her. Respecting her position in his life as mother is one thing, but keeping quiet when you know she is deliberately hurting people is not acceptable.
Guniyal - I have always been intrigued by her character. I mean what mother will stand and watch her daughter's alliance being broken, yet treat the guy responsible with care ? And what mother will allow things to go so far knowing that nothing is going to come out of the relationship? Every time VC used to ask Kumud to accompany Saras or to do something for him, she would watch it silently...and today, she broke down and then started blaming Saras saying he is the reason for Kumud's state. I feel she is more to be blamed than him. Saras wrote the letter to Kumud because he was not able to get his own father understand. I agree he should have written to VC instead. But Guniyal blaming Saras was a knee jerk reaction.
Dugba - she just could not blame Kumud or Saras because she loves them both very much...and she rightly advises Saras not to go down the same path as his dad...

I think another component we are forgetting is that he had to hear this news from Guman of all people. If anything, it should have been Kumud or Guniyal that he should have heard it from. Just the fact that the wrong person told him about the rejection also really affected his reaction.

Annie, great analysis. I agree on all your points and mainly n Guniyal. I was shocked to hear her blame Saras when she knew everything from starting and like you say even watched everything silently. She has no right to blame him.
