Pyar Ka Dard Hai' has knocked its rivals for six after topping the ratings – with one of the biggest ever audience figures for the popular show on Star Plus.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, 'Pyar Ka Dard Hai', which airs at 22:00 weeknights got a huge 283,400 viewers – the best ever ratings in recent times. It peaked further to a record 349,800 viewers during the course of the show.
In second place was 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', which too saw a massive rise in its viewership attracting 252,300 viewers last night at 21:00, followed by 'Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai' with the best figure in four months on the channel. It pulled in 211,200 viewers at 20:30.
The others in the pecking order were 'Veera' (188,900), 'SaraswatiChandra' (183,300), 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' (175,900), 'MasterChef India' (168,500) and 'Saathiya' (133,400)
