I'm confused about their love...

Ok serious question...why on EARTH does Saras all of a sudden look so in love with Kumud???!! I get why she might smile or blush because we know she loved him from the very beginning, even before meeting him. But what about Saras? From what I tell, I don't think the writers have shown him to have realized that he has any sort if feelings for her, but he is acting like he was the one to be madly in love with her. Plus, he keeps threatening that he's going to leave her and HATE being there. They should portray Saras at this time conflicted and distant, not naughty and flirty (which is hot I admit).
