so many people asked the same question thas y ppl r annoyed but please dont misjudge them and bash them. i had the same question regarding the ending but mr bhansali himself said that he is not going to completely follow the novel/ film. he is going to adapt it to suit the audience so the ending may not be the same . hope that answers ur question.
