Chapter 4- We wish it never ever had happened -PART 2
One amongst the men who seemed to be the group leader, walked towards Saraswatichandra. His heavy American boots sounded deadly. He took a lighter out from his pocket and lit his cigarette. With a heavy smoky mouth, he said to Saraswatichandra, "friend! How are you, dear?"
All the member of Kumud's family was astonished. No one knew what was going on.
Kumud-" What's going on, Saras?" And in a very loud and domineering voice he shouted, "Keep quite little girl, we are here to talk to Saraswatichandra!"
Saraswatichandra-"What are you people doing here? And why the hell you tied them?"
Vidyachatur-"Beta, tum….tum issi jante ho?"
Group leader-"Ha ha ha! Nahi janta kya buddha..mai Saraswatichandra ka dost hoon"
Saraswatichandra hanged his head down in humiliation.
Kumud-"Saras, can you explain?" Saraswatichandra gave a second for a thought and then in a very deep voice he said, "Kumud and other family members, who have treated me well and good. I enjoyed this place. But…"
Kumud took a deep breathe and Saraswatichandra continued.
Saraswatichandra- "But! Hunting…it's my passion, I can't quit that and these people are my friends. My hunting friends! I had called them here!"
Kumud and her family were betrayed. They got very sad with this and now, there lives were also at risk. They all felt like they were badly hit and cheated upon. Vidyachatur then broke the silence, "Kumud dear, you were right! We should have not trusted him. I am sorry to all because now, I've risked everyone's life", he said in very deep and painful voice. Meanwhile, Saraswatichandra and his friends had gone out to talk.
Saraswatichandra-"What are you people doing here? Why the hell did you tie them up?"
Group Leader-"Oh ho! Mr. Saraswatichandra, when have you thought of returning our money? Remember, recall what you had promised us! And if you don't remember them we'll remind you."
Saraswatichandra fell into silence. He had no words left to speak.
Group Leader-"You promised us that you will come with us and hunt animals and then sell it. After getting the money, you will pay us back! Got it!!!"
Saraswatichandra-"Yeah…yeah, I'll repay!"
Group Leader-"What repay, huh?" , the group leader turned towards the other men who were standing around Saraswatichandra. "Dear friends, look what a loving person Saraswatichandra is! He came here, and these people told him to stop hunting and he immediately stopped. And then he becomes 'Majnoo' and that girl, what's her name, yeah, Kumud she is the 'Laila'. Wow! Awesome! He has forgotten all about hunting, all about money just because of that girl and so, now I have decided…"
Saraswatichandra lifted his right eyebrow when the group leader made this statement. The group leader resumed, "I've decided to kill that girl along with her family members!!"
And then, he gave his Dracula laugh! And walked towards the door with his heavy boots.
Saraswatichandra-"No, No! please no! I…I have a deal, another deal!! Please wait! Listen! I…I give you my life, I'll be a slave and I'll do whatever you say! I'll be your servant forever and I will never ever ask for the money! But, please don't harm her or others."
Group Leader-"Don't harm her or others!! Haha" And he gave another annoying laugh!, "Okay so deal is done!" He asked one of the men to untie all the people and then started moving away from the jungle.
Saraswatichandra-"Hey! Wait! We'll move out next morning please! It's very dark out there and there are many wild animals coming out, you know that."
Group Leader-"Maybe, you are right! Okay men! We stay her tonight!"
Saraswatichandra had just walked in when he saw Vidyachatur at the door.
Vidyachatur-"You can't sleep inside. But just because you were our guest, we give you this bedsheets, lay your beds here and sleep! G0t that!"
Saraswatichandra laid bed for all but unfortunately the group leader snatched away his bed sheet also and took with him. Saraswatichandra was lying down on the sand and pebbles. Yes! They were hurting him a lot. But! He was only thinking about Kumud, he gazed at the stars and tried to sleep but all in vain.
