You give each other pain yet you understand it just as well. What kind of relationship is that you share?

Thank you Kusum for giving the correct definition of Saras and Kumud's love story. They'll give each other pain, lots of it but they will heal it too. That will be the essence of their journey.

There are these small instances, subtleties which make the screenplay stand out from the rest. Like how when Kumud moved away dejected after Saras shut the door on her, the camera zoomed out gradually with her footsteps as if to tell the audience that we too are leaving this moment with her. Or when Saras comes inside the gates and Kumud sees his condition but then fades in to the background and we see the other two sisters to the forefront. What BRILLIANT direction!

Standouts in today's episode:

- Saras' agony at the beginning of the episode, GR's expressions were fabulous. The background music was very Devdas like. The frustration he let out on the wood really expressed how much this tragedy has effected him. He didn't forget the kite either and nor will he ever lose it. It's HIS now- the kite and the kite owner. Then later we see him trying to meditate but he almost shudders out of it, he is that torn from within. He needs healing...! Again brilliant body language by Gautam.

-Kumud's repent. Some actors have a certain poise where they are in complete control of their body language. Jennifer is one such actress who just knows what she is expressing, you can tell from her piercing eyes, the command she has in her voice when she speaks. When Kumud was peeping through the door, her eyes were so sparkling moist. The dark shot where Dukh baa asks if she asked for forgivness to which Kumud responds 'Haa, par usne di nahin' (hats off to the cameraman again). Her diction is so strong and intense. Sometimes it's all about the way you say it which is why strangely the line which is still in my mind after the episode ended was actually quite minor. Kumud's 'Mandir mein khare ho...maaf kardo''. She ends it in a whisper but a powerful and sincere one. She really wants to be forgiven and you could feel that.

šŸ˜†Yey! I am first today...will read and write after I come from work 😳

Definitely was first to res say but definitely late to replyšŸ˜†.

Jenny, what can I say about her? When I saw her for the first time she entered as Simran in the show Kkusum as Kumud's best friend lol. Then as Sneha in Kasauti...from that show she had excellently learned how to do such powerful scenes. Then of course next I saw her in DMG...of all people any fan of that show should no she took the cake in emotional scenes. You know how people are saying Gautam expresses with his eyes?

Jenny too emotes with her beautiful eyes. Her eyes when they well up, you can see that pain she depicts and now that is simply is beautiful. I have ALWAYS BEEN effected by her acting. She is just absolutely outstanding. She is the PERFECT Kumud.

SLB knows well how too choose his actors and once again he done exactly that for the roles of SC and Kumud.

Oh and my name is Shivani šŸ˜³šŸ˜†

I'm so perplexed, for the first time I think I'm more mesmerized by the female lead than the male. Jenny is just... love!!! Whatever she does, she excels it, been mesmerized by her ever since that basketball game she and Armaan had, when he had just lost his memory...Jenny is one of the few actresses who actually knows what she's doing. She understands and grasps her work at an Another level.
As for the Saras, Gautam is just perfect for this role!!! When I saw him for the first time a few months ago in teri meri love stories, I felt this guy needs to be in some serial.
People need to come out from their nonsense saas-bahu dramas with no story or these half-comedy rom coms, that does no justice to the characters or actors. They should realize the essence, the Beauty, the feeling of this show. It's absolutely brilliant :)

In each and every scene of hers she has stood out like a magnet. I am biased towards her and I fully admit it but its with good reason. She's such a charming actress who like you said takes her roles to the next level. I am really warming up to Gautam and like most, I was really impressed with his work yesterday and today but Jenny has been doing her magic even in the smallest of scenes.

I DO know you from BMTD times. Thought I did but it didn't ring a bell! Nice to see you again :))

FREAKING AMAZING post!!! the cameraman and the actors aren't the only people who deserve the applause. I just love the way you wrote "He didn't forget the kite either and nor will he ever lose it. It's HIS now- the kite and the kite owner." After Saras finished his chopping spree, I was thinking "the kite, where is his kite?"...so happy that he grabbed it even when he was so mad/hurt. You have given spot on and brilliant explanations. Really enjoyed reading it šŸ‘šŸ¼

Your stole my thoughts. It is not at all difficult to whom to praise for fab episode. Gautam, Jenny, Raginiji(Dukhba), direction, camera and background music did excellent job.
Couple of scenes stands out where, when Saras came home and Dukhba came out with towlel. Saras and Dukhba did not said a word but their face and eyes said a lot.
Saras meditation scene, where he was not able to concentrate and breaks out at end was excellent. Gautam did fab job in that scene.
Jenny she stole my heart today. No one could be better choice for Kumudsundari than her. Her face talked volume today. 2 scenes touched me most. One where she was standing outside Saras room and trying to apologize and other one at Temple when she finally said Sorry tying to look into his eyes when she said but could not meet her eyes with his because of guilt she is carrying.

Loved it , Loved it , Loved it.

Just finished watching the episode ..Are they really gonna make us cry like this..?😳 In every single episode? Is it gonna be this intense?the two characters who are messing up with my head :

Kumud : Her body language has changed so much since yesterday... You can tell she is dying from inside...In her wildest dreams she hadnt imagined she could trigger off something like this..Uski ankhen dekhke aisa laga jesa dukho ka sailaab utha hai uske andar... That day she saw today she felt every bit of that pain...The way she was slowly walking towards his room in the night..unsure, scared if its the right time to talk to him... I could feel how nervous she felt...She doesnt know the depth of his pain but she knows it was deep enough to rip him ...Its this pain she had connected to when she first saw his eyes in her dreams..its this pain she wanted to share..Today she knows what that pain is all about ..to a large extent if not fully...

Saras: His walk back home...the pained anger on his face..holding the kite firmly in his hand...had me in tears. Dukhba seems to know exactly what he is going through...and he looks for solace in her face..the usual stern face is now so affectionate when she wipes his face..and consoles him...I found it so touching when he was trying to meditate and kept getting agitated thinking about the whole incident...but the moment he heard Kumud's voice say , '' Suno'' at his door..he immediately snapped out of the bad memories...as if waiting for her to come to him..he even walks upto the door.. He is not hesitant to show her he is angry and hurt...he slams the door on her face but the moment she says she is gonna keep coming to his door till he forgives her, his expressions soften.. When he was looking at Kumud standing with the pooja ki thali with Ooo Piyaa ( male version) playing in the background...you could say he can not remain angry with her...he forgave her the moment she said sorry with tears in her eyes...but he is not gonna show it anytime soon...
