Sanjay Leela Bhansali's new show on Star Plus 'SaraswatiChandra' saw record ratings last night in the UK – the biggest for a fiction show for the channel in months.

The ratings high has most certainly been pushed by Star TV's recent marketing for the show. Last night, 'SaraswatiChandra' was watched by an incredible 297,800 viewers – peaking at 310,400 viewers. The show beat its own record of 254,000, which it rated last week.

wow that's cool. SARASWATICHANDRA is a fantastic show and I love the acting of everyone and Gautam and Jenny are fab😆
