Kumud, ah she is human!!! She is a woman of today, with pride and respect...especially with pride there comes always an ego!!!
I agree, she is wrong. We all think that because we ALL know why Saraswatichandra had rejected her, we all know what is kinda going on in his life and mind. Kumud doesnt!! I know she should listen to his side of the story...BUT we have to also put ourselves in her shoes! This girl received a letter in which the man that she had already fallen for by just looking at his eyes had rejected her. This guy didn't even see her!!! How can he?? Ego is formed from reflection of what others think of you; hell this guy didn't even give a chance of looking at her and said no!! That is a big OUCHIE for Kumud!! On top of that her father who is extremely happy with the alliance...the man whom she loves...the first man whom she ever loved!!! He is her pride...her everything...this no will hurt her dad!!!Next he shows up because of her challenge and instead of telling him the truth, she thinks he is wasting their time and is getting too close. In day from her family members she is reminded that she was rejected!!! Damad ji this...jiju this...ever since he has walked in that door...she knows he is here to say no...but since he has been there she heres these two words echoing in her ears...and everytime she hears it he pinches her because she knows he is never going to be hers!!It isn't just ego...it is fear of falling for him to an extent where she won't be able to live without him despite her knowing they won't marry.Don't you see, she is trying sooo HARD to make herself hate him...to kick him away from her...and especially her dad!!! She doesn't want him to stay there for that long so people love him only to be broken with his rejection later. It isn't just the part that he never saw her...it is now also "there is no point in seeing me"...you ain't marrying...right?? You aren't going to change your mind!!! You said no...thats that...and so there is NO point in seeing my face!! Ego is the reflection of others think...what if he sees me?? Will he think I am ugly??? Will I not be good for him? She doesn't want to see him look at her...and then see what his eyes reflect or express her own reflection of herself back to her!!She knows that Saraswatichandra has saved her dad...she is thankful...she wants to thank him...BUT she can't!! Thanking him is the first sign of trusting someone...accepting someone...and she doesn't want to do any of that especially when there will be nothing formed between them. Then...OMG he rejected me without looking at me...comes...so it is like a whole a bunch of factors that make her the way she is...😆😆😆Deep down she doesn't realize that she loved him already...and that all of this hate that she is trying to portray...trying to put him off with will only make her see the good side of Saraswatichandra...will only make her fall deeply and madly in love with him!!!Deep down, she may already trust him...hence she i think was testing him whether he would go back home...and so when she finds out he is leaving BAM again she is hurt...she wants to stop him...but yet she can't get up to do it...him leaving is burning her in the inside...until her mom tells her that she is being stupid...immature...childish...and she needs to cut off that ego of hers...because it might just end up hurting her own dad when she doesn't stop saraswati chandra!I agree with your post...what gives her the right...but she didn't even tell SC to his face that he is selfish?? It wasn't even really meant for him...it was more of something she wanted to make of him to hate him even more...to show her sister that she doesn't care for him!!! However, when she finds out that he heard her...it hurts even more!!!Everytime she pains him...she feels double of that pain!!Now that SC told her indirectly that she is thinking wrong of him...going by her character she still may not care...because whatever she saw will make her even like him more...the way he cares for her dad...the way he respects him...and this might set off a whole other thing in her...😆Hayeee...i hope i made sense...but I love your post...it made me actually want to discuss...All i know is...that when she learns the truth about Saraswatichandra...all of that ego will vanish...the ego of being rejected will be gone!
