This post and this thread is just about the best thing about SC!😆

SLB is trying to recreate an 18th century novel into a 21st century daily soap! Now if he was a Vishal Bharadwaj or even an Anurag Kashyap, one could have still expected something...but with SLB, hopes are dashed even before they begin to rise!

Saraswatichandra's character (apart from the frankly ridiculous name) is just too outdated for today's times...when he was orginally concieved by the author...he was supposed to be a progressive man with a socialistic outlook...the love story is just incidental to the plot!

But SLB and the idiots in SP are trying to adapt it to a modernized version, where the hero's social welfare theme gets translated to him keeping 'Vrats and Upwaas' for his father😕

And what is the deal with Jennifer's wardrobe? Who wears such revealing clothes in interior Gujrat? Her back is almost bare, her midriff is completely visible...and her blouse barely reaches her bustline...on top of that, she doesn't even cover her boobs properly with the duppata! I mean come on!😆 The only saving grace is that Jennifer has a petite figure and hence the skin show doesn't border on vulgar!

SP nuns have gone on a teerth or what..

SC is too outdated for today.. They should take lessons from mahadev on how to look cool and funky..even with exotic themes..
