We have got one B/W movie also by the same name,long long back ...

He said he couldnt capture the story in phillum and hence he made roz ka sabun

The sets were... *gasp* some scenes were really cliched (cough-pearl scene-cough) and Jenny seems too young For the role. Also, GR's parents were constipated. But other than that, loved the characters... And GAUTAM RODE IS MINE MUSCLE SEX AND SPICE

Oh please do you really think that the show would reach 2000 episodes?

Yeah he is a great BW director but TV audiences need some spice and drama. Im not sure how many will take this tragic story. And if SLB changes the script according to people's liking and with some good tracks and a happy ending then the show may last for 2 years maximum. But definitely not 2000 episodes!
