Naina and Daksh discuss about the poison in the bottle. He asks her to confirm from the Laboratory, and she tells him, that she has already confirmed and the technician told her that it was poison, and when she tells Daksh that he had told her when he had called earlier, that it was cough syrup. Daksh excuses the technician, saying that in the hurry, he might have made a mistake. Naina tells him, that the technician is telling the truth, and she is telling lies. Daksh says, it is not possible for Naina to be confused, but as she behaves, she appears to see all things in a different light. Naina however, can not reconcile the fact, that she had seen the ants and they were over the stain, and how could they be drawn to the poison, and she touched and smelled it and it had a syrup ordor, and was sticky. She feels that Daksh is not open to see her point of view. All he sees, that if the report is taken to the family, and they are told that she threatened to take poison, the family will take it as a trick on their part, and not on Sonakshi's part. So he is not keen to bring it up with the parents. At that moment, someone comes to ask them to come down as they are waiting for them.
Downstairs, Kaka is upset, that the family of Ayush did not come for the Ganapati puja. He wants to go to their house, and all agree to go with him. Shyamal says, that there should be some one with Ganapati, in he house, and Daksh volunteers. Rohini finds a nice opportunity to get Daksh with Sonakshi. Ayee is convinced by Rohini to ask Sonakshi to stay with Daksh. The mother 'thinks' and then in deep deliberation, decides that it is a good idea. They all leave, and Rohini sends an SMS to Sonakshi.
At the house of Ayush, the Patwardan family enter without advance information. They invite them inand ask where their son is. The mother tells them that he has gone to make arrangements for the immersion of the idol. As the family decorously sit, in their places, the mother of Ayush asks the servant to serve them refreshments. Kaka, asks his wife to send his daughter to help her mother in law, and she reluctantly goes. Behind her, Naina knowing that she is expecting, goes to help. Kaka does not like that, and tells his wife to call her back, and tells his daughter to go. Things are done according to the wishes of the strongman. When they are busy talking, and being entertained, the young man, with two of his friends, walk in, and Kaka rushes to him, and hugs him, and Ayush wonders how they have all arrived her. Kaka tells his daughter to go and meet him, and she docilely goes towards him, and he looks at her impatiently. Akruti stands still, and says nothing. They are all asked to get ready for the puja, and the boys walk first, and Akruti follows behind them.
At home Daksh is alone, and Sonakshi has come, and is trying to make herself at home, and picks a conversation, and does most of the talking and the thrust of her talk, is to say that Naina is insecure in her love for him. Daksh, politely listens to her, without responding to her in any way. Sonakshi offers to make coffee for both of them. At first Daksh refuses to have coffee, but on her telling him, that this will be their last coffee together, he agrees.
She goes to the kitchen, and prepares the coffee with one hand, as the other is still in the sling, for public consumption. When the coffee is prepared, she opens a packet of some drug, to put Daksh to sleep, and slips it in the coffee meant for Daksh, and stirs it till it is fully dissolved.
However, while leaving the kitchen, she drops the empty drug packet, on the floor. Sooner or later, someone would discover it, and it would be used to unravel the plot.
Daksh has gone to his room, and is working on his lap top. He has a head ache, and takes a tablet and drinks some water, and then comes Sonakshi, with her tray with two cups of coffee.
Sonakshi starts her romantic talk, but Daksh is already tired and sleepy. She forces him to drink his coffee, and she too has hers, while 'pouring' out her insincere heart, to him, with words of 'love' to impress upon the drugged Daksh. Daksh rolls his eyes, to dispel his drowsiness, and finishes the coffee.
At the house of Ayush, the prayer service is in full swing, with their bajans and offerings to Ganapati.
Naina, with a truly sincere heart, prays for divine blessings on this family, and that there will be no harm done to anyone. The simple mother, Vibha, with her devout face, pours her prayers to her Ganapati, and asks his protection for her niece Akruti and her future husband. She does not forget, that her son too is going to get married to her Sonakshi, and she prays that they will be happy together, and the camera pans to the sly Sonakshi, trying to drug her son. The desperate Rohini, has also a plea to her protector, and asks him to do a despicable thing for her, as she can not get rid of her arch foe, Naina, she calls upon him, to do it for her. Whom do we think, Ganapati will listen to ?
Back in Patwardhan house, Daksh finds himself with his shirt open, and exposing his singlet, and clasping his head, and wondering why he has such a severe head ache. On the side, in the same bed, we see a girl, covered in a red blanket, up to her neck, and the head that props out is that of Sonakshi.
Is this what the article wanted to say, that Daksh and Naina were going to have sex in the serial? It is a big joke and cheap publicity.
