In the dining room, altercation between Rohini, Akruti and others in the family persists. Kaka joins in the quarrel, and abuses Akruti and her mother, when Naina suggests that she go out to handle some client, as this will give an opportunity to her to have a change in the pace of her life, Kaka, pounces on Naina and says, that his daughter's predicament has been due to her interference in her life, and Naina tries to explain, when Rohini adds her piece, and tells Kaka, that he is fully justified, and he retorts to her, and tells her that he has not asked her for any advice, and to keep her thoughts to herself, and Rohini is subdued for a moment.
Daksh had gone up, to Sonakshi's room, to give her the breakfast. She tries to win him over, but he is stiff and reserved, and she falls on him, and he holds her back, but she does not give up. He makes her sit on the bed, and he does not show any change in his demeanour, and she again tells him, that she had to come here as her parents were not at home, but he does not buy her argument, and in his own mind suspects her motives, and walks away, and then, she asks him to take her down to the breakfast table, so that she could have the breakfast with others. He tells her, that she is injured in the hand, and her feet are fine. She tells him, that she is weak. Surprisingly, Daksh is shown to be yielding to her, whether out of curtsy, or because he wants to get away from this mess.
They all sit for breakfast, and Rohini and Sonakshi pass glances at each other, as if there is some understanding between them. The uncle, is fed up of them, and goes away from the dining room. Daksh says that he is not hungry, and walks up to his room, and his mother is melting with concern for her son, and pleads with him, but by the time he could answer, he gets a telephone call and answers it. On the phone, Naina is shown as telling him, to go back and have his meal, so that the family is not hurt. She is telling him, that when the time is right, they would inform his parents, but till then to go along with the flow. He listens to her and goes back, and his mother is much pleased with her son, and tells the others that this is his normal way of behaving.
Naina tells Akruti that she should take care of the office, and the out door work, she will do and takes the file from her, and for this she has to hear the sarcastic barbs of the Uncle. In the meantime, the door bell rings, and Naina is asked to see who is at the door. She goes to open the door, and finds that Ayush is there, and at first she wants to send him away, but then, Vidhyadar comes and also feels that he is unwanted, but Ayush persuades them to give him a hearing. All the others in the family come to see what is happening, and Daksh sees him, and says that he should leave the house. He pleads with Daksh too, and the camera focuses on Sonakshi, who has a sly smile on her face, giving us the hint, that she has manipulated Ayush into playing this act. The rest of those present, are all shown with baffled faces. Even Rohini can not make out what is going on. When Shridar comes at first he wants to pounce on Ayush, but his brother holds him, back, and when he finds out that Ayush wants to marry his daughter, he changes is mind and willingly tells him, that he accepts, and everyone else is surprised, as they do not believe that Ayush could have changed so easily. Naina says, that he is afraid of the case.
Ayush kneels in front of Shyamal, and asks her forgiveness, and makes all the show, of being repentant, but Daksh and Naina do not buy it. When Sonakshi finds that Daksh is unwilling, she butts in, and gives her opinion, which is seconded by Rohini. She says, that Akruti's future would be assured and her child will have a home. She wants them to side with Ayush, and perhaps withdraw the
case. If we remember, Joshi had called Daksh and told him to be wary of Ayush. Now Sonakshi too is getting the drift, and wants to come out of the case. May be she had not filed a case at all, and it was all a game plan of her and her father, to trap Daksh. Naina does not trust Ayush, but she trusts Sonakshi. Is it because the former was showing his colors right in front of her face, and the latter does it behind her back. Is this because she has still to grow, and learn from life.
Perhaps, all these experiences, of different types of people around her and the way they behave, may make a better person out of her, whereby, she will be a useful citizen, who will be able to help others, in similar situations, once she grows up more. But life shows, that even if we grow up in life, we can still think like children, as in the case of Vibha or immaturely, like Shridar Kaka; or viciously like Rohini. It needs real jolts and jerks, to wake up our inner conscience.
We have to wait and see, what exactly Sonakshi up to, and how Rohini will react, and add to the problems of her family.
