If you feel, that SSBN has moved to a slow train, from the Fast track, please relax, and hold your breath. May be the fast track is under repairs, and unless there is a change in the management, we may have to stop at all the stations on our journey, but we are with friends - some times the sun shines, and at other times it rains.
We get a repeat glimpse of the Joshi family for the benefit of those who might have missed the last episode, and we hear that Naina is not a girl to sit quiet and take orders. She has a mind, and she will tell what is in it. She gives a piece of her thinking to Mr. Joshi, as she tells her principles do not allow her to charge Daksh, who has been her best friend, and when Joshi has a point regarding keeping work and friendship in
two compartments, she says, she agrees, and that is why she does not want to mess up her friendship, with her business. Joshi has to yield, and gets a knock out blow from his daughter Sonakshi, who reminds him, that this is the first time, he has had to keep his mouth shut. His wife has a sly smile of success, as she sees her husband wince. They finally take leave of the family and go away.
As night falls, Naina is with her mother, and is very depressed, and can not understand why she feels this way. Her mother comes in and notices her and sits with her and comforts her. Naina expresses her sadness of missing Daksh who has been her best friend, and now that he is marrying, she feels that she might lose him. Her mother consoles her, and asks her whether she has seen deep in her heart, whether it is mere friendship that is bothering her and that it is not love. She brushes aside the thought, but still the nagging feeling does not go.. The mother tells her that next day they will be busy, and they better get a good sleep, and tells her to go to bed.
As the morning dawns, the family is up, and gearing up for the Mehendi ceremony. All have expressions of joy, but Naina seems unhappy, and this shows on her face. When they apply the mehendi, Akruti comes, and they ask her to sit. and her mother tells to apply some on her hands. She is not sure. Then Rohini comes and wants her hands too to be painted, but her mother says, that it is not good for her in this state, as she may catch a cold. Hearing this Akruti changes her mind, and they can not understand her but she tells them she has work. Naina knows the reason, so she gives her a way out, and tells her to look after the clients' calls in the office. and allows her to go. We then see Abhi and Daksh and the latter, isees something in Naina's hair, and he comes close and removes it, and she thanks him. Anjali and Minoo both see this if different ways. Abhi and Daksh then leave to go for some drinks, as both want to spend the last days of their bachelorhood together.
Before leaving, Naina asks Daksh to look after Abhi, and if he has a drink more than he can handle, not to allow him to drive, and Daksh accepts her request. They land in the restaurant, and order drinks, and as time passes, they do not know how many drinks they had, and they become nostalgic and romantic. In the house the girls have their dance and song, and time passes, the train, stopping every now and then at the oncoming station, and the story is about to end.
In the last scene, we see Daksh lying on his bed, and Naina taking care of him. Daksh is incoherent, and Naina wants him to sleep, and he wants her to stay. But as Naina leaves, Daksh says to her, in the drunken stupor, "Naina, I love you.", and on hearing this, she freezes for a moment, as the scene fades away.
