The Tiwaris return from the hospital with Mama and are greeted by Mami and Arti. Harivansh says if Sumitra is feeling better then it's time they returned home. Sumitra and Arti agree. Harivansh tells Pooja to pack too.
Pooja is shocked and reminds him that she has a show in Gwalior on the day after. It's highly inconvenient for her career for her to live in Panchmarhi (jhooti jhooti 😆) where they have bad cell reception and no proper road links. Arti asks her where she plans to stay in Bhopal because she can't live with her aunt and uncle forever.
Pooja makes some noises about taking a house on rent now that she's earning decent money and her parents are horrified at the idea. Harivansh says she spent 4 days abroad and now she's thinking like people from abroad. Sumitra and Arti also tell Pooja that she can't live in Bhopal on her own.
Pooja is all pouty and worried. She doesn't know what to do. She thinks Brij might be able to help her think of a solution.
But Brij has problems of his own. When he returns to the haveli, he finds a tailor and designer from Mumbai taking Daddaji's measurements under Rangoli's eagle gaze. Daddaji happily tells Brij that all this is for him and goes off to eat dinner.
Rangoli tells Brij that he needs to be more stylish esp with a modern and stylish wife like her at his side. Brij is sarcastic about her new found concern after 7 years of marriage. He says he likes his old fashioned khadi. But even as he's saying all this, he stands quietly for the measurements.
In the middle of all this tension, Pooja starts calling him repeatedly. Brij can't pick up the phone because Rangoli is standing right next to him but is worried if Pooja has seen the pic in the paper. Pooja can't understand why he's not picking up his phone and Arti sees her strange behavior.
Rangoli wants to know who's calling him so much but Brij makes some excuse. She says to give her the phone and she'll tell the other person that he's with her now. Brij hastily puts it in his pocket. Rangoli is immediately suspicious and wonders why he looks so bothered - she's only changing his clothes, not his lifestyle.
The designer interrupts to ask for a stool because the tailor has trouble getting Brij's measurements coz he's so tall "like Amitabh Bachchan" 😆. Rangoli once again calls for the terrorized servant who threw out Brij's clothes and finalizes on a look for Brij before kicking the designer and his tailor out.
As soon as they're alone, Brij tells Rangoli that he's a man of the people and he's going to dress like them. That is his identity and is she going to take that away from him as well?
Rangoli sneers at him that he still doesn't understand politics - people don't want a leader, they want a ruler.😕 And that's what he has to be. Brij looks less than impressed with her wisdom. Rangoli says it's up to him and Brij immediately crosses to the wardrobe to get his clothes but is shocked to find it empty. Rangoli laughs at him in the background.
As night falls and Harivansh makes plans to leave at the crack of dawn, Pooja is listlessly helping her sister pack as Arti keeps a worried eye on her strange behavior. Pooja tries calling Brij again but his phone is switched off.
Rangoli is also on the phone, calling Mrityunjay who says he has some clues. He comes as soon as she calls and brings her pics of various women linked to Brij. One is a rising politician who shows up at most of the events Brij attends and has a habit of standing very close to him. Another is an NGO worker who always spends her time with him whenever he's nearby. And the last one, he says, is specially interesting - a talented young singer from an ordinary family whose every event Brij has attended.
Just as you're having a heart attack, he reveals her name is Namrata something and it's a different girl. 😆👍🏼 Rangoli asks when the next event is going to be held and M tells her about Gwalior. Rangoli immediately makes plans to go to Gwalior.
Precap: same as yesterday, Rangoli in psycho mode threatening to kill any girl who comes between her and Brij.
So I guess Gwalior's sweet Brija scenes won't happen. Or maybe luck will help out once again and Pooja decides to skip Gwalior and so Rangoli is thrown off track. She can't find out SO soon!
But the conversation between Rangoli and Brij as they discuss power plays was very interesting.
