The entire episode takes place in Daddaji's haveli today...it is a very pink day...
The courtyard scene from yesterday continues. Rangoli mocks BBP who looks nervously at Pooja. He shakes his head at Rangoli and moves away and finds Samsher who says he will handle the situation. Pooja looks on. BBP nods at Pooja but leaves. Pooja stands in one corner of the courtyard continuing to look clueless. In the meantime our favorite haveli gimp Giridhar Bhai tries to apply color on our much reviled desi dominatrix Rangoli Bai. Promptly there is a small tag chase with shrieks and squeals and yesterday's precap takes place.
As Rangoli careens into Pooja 😲, she covers her face and shoulders with Gulaal. A lunch box falls from the little babe's hands spilling gujia (yum) onto the floor. Pooja looks horrified as Rangoli turns to her. Rangoli taunts that their horoscopes must overlap because they keep running into each other. However today she will spare Pooja - after all she is not wearing any sandals (thanks)!! Moreover Brijji may object - he despises the disrespect of any artist! At the mention of his name, Pooja's face perks up through her gulaal facial.
Just as Pooja looks like she will burst into tears, Samsher intervenes telling Rangoli that papa dearest beckons his little psycho. Rangoli snaps her fingers at Pooja, waking her from her horror struck reverie, wishes her a happy holi and leaves. Rangoli has definitely had a date with the bhang wallah, she is only a couple of tambourines away from the rainbow ... the histrionics were definitely OTT.
Samsher tells Pooja to let bygones be bygones and consoles her about the spilt gujia. In the meantime Bhavana arrives on the scene and latches on to Pooja's arm. Pooja enquires about BBP. Samsher responds saying that given that there are so many VIPs and political dignitaries milling around the place, BBP is busy and might not be available though he will relay her message. Pooja and Bhavna wander off.
BBP extricates himself from daddaji's Diwaan-e-khaas and finds Samsher. BBP expresses his concern about Pooja and his worry that she might find out about Rangoli (tch, tch, hmm... our hero has clay feet!). Samsher says he will try and send Pooja off ASAP though he does let BBP know that Pachmarhi's jalebi eating champ has expressed the desire to see him.
Bhavna tries to warn her friend ... (thanks Bhavna, you redeem my faith in humanity).. Bhanva says that BBP is a powerful politician, a power broker who is much older than her and in her small town naivete, Pooja might not know everything about him. Moreover, Bhavna thought Pooja liked Krish ... who was more age compatible. Pooja is a little upset, she cuts into Bhavna's well meant spiel and defends BBP saying that age has nothing to do with her feelings and moreover BBP has never hidden anything.
Bhavana gives up after listening to Pooja's BBP gungaan. As if on cue, Krish with red facepaint breaks into the conversation hinting to Bhavana that he would like to propose to Pooja. Pooja snubs him, Bhavana heads him off and he looks thoroughly confused (just as we viewers are by his affection for Pooja).😕
Pooja walks away ostensibly to leave the gathering when BBPs call comes in on the cell phone (if only Harivansh knew what he had done by getting her that gadget). BBP asks her to be surreptitious about their conversation and says he feels bad about not being able to talk with her. He can see her from a balcony though she cannot spot him. The conversation is full of sentences that are potential misunderstandings 😕. BBP tries to tell Pooja about Rangoli; Pooja cuts in saying he is not at fault, she knows about Rangoli... about her being a spoilt brat. Brij looks hopeful, relieved, uncertain and confused all at the same time. I think he assumes she knows about Bungoli but in reality, Pooja remains clueless. Our dear nightingale, the Pachmarhi princess, still knows nothing about Bungoli. Pooja tells him about the spilt gujia and that she hoped that they could play Holi ... it being their first shared festival. BBP then promises that he will make Holi happen for Brija and will eat gujias another time. He tells her to wait for his call...but Pooja heads into the noisy courtyard and cannot hear the phone ring when he does call.
In the meantime Daddaji sends Giridhar off to find Pooja and her troupe members. In the haveli courtyard, Giridhar is nabbed by Samsher who gets him to drink Bhang. As Giridhar partakes of Bhang and gets rowdily stoned, he spots BBP on a balcony. Pooja spots him too. Giridhar goes up to BBP and, stoned out of his mind, starts blathering and pulls him down into the courtyard. When BBP escapes from Giridhar's clutches, Rangoli intercepts him. She starts pawing him while Pooja looks on upset. 😡
Daddaji calls Rangoli away to his Diwan-e-Khaas. Rangoli is introduced to the chief minister by her simpering father. I get the feeling that daddaji will get his daughter to be the next in line. They have a little father daughter coloring moment. Rangoli quickly does the niceties and starts prowling around looking for BBP again. 😡😡
In the meantime our lovebirds Brija have made phone contact and rendezvous behind a haveli pillar in a more quieter part of the house. They tenderly apply gulaal onto each others cheeks and wish each other a happy holi. ☺️They hold hands giving each other finger massages and look at each other participating in mutual retinal scans ☺️. In the meantime Rangoli descends a staircase just behind the pillar still prowling for her prey. The lovebirds are somewhat visible if she turns her head ...I guess we are left to wonder till tomorrow-

Nice fuller length episode - wonder if Pooja does find out about Bungoli tomorrow; feels cheated and Krish makes a move...then Gwalior happens...then value-mongering happens...
