durum i agree wid u, puja showing all goodies made me uncomfortable too, it just shows that she does get swayed by all gud think in life.

she is not asking him anything. he's behaved soo badly wid her she dosnt want explanation 4rm him. if that was me i would make that person life hell for treatin me like dirt. wen i'm done. then i would b rejoiceing.

I went back and checked episode 1. Looks like you have done a better job at observing than I have...yes indeed shukla ji with his wrist pouch is there. He even comes into the camera frame for a fraction of a second. I saw the photographs you talk about though the resolution is not so clear. ...there definitely a lambuddin standing with 2 ladies, but I am not able to identify who they are.

The promo 1 does clearly show Pooja thanking brijji for the car. I wish they would repeat these promos more often!! yep, looks like they do continue well beyond mauritius...I am certain that Krish definitely has a role, the actor has made name for himself on the small screen and I dont think that he was hired for just a cameo. But let us wait and watch...

In today's episode, Brij giving pooja that chain has some significance - it was a simple pendant and had no garishness.

Pooja's cluelessness points towards desdemona but I want to know how the Tiwari family figures into all of this...if this starts reeking of AT/MS, I will probably switch off, the stellar cast notwithstanding. I just think that is so very tacky and in such bad taste. Brij's pleased but uncertain gestures when handling pooja's affection in public also points towards an Othello. His slight uncertainty indicates that he is not a womanizer and this is indeed the real thing...not a small time fling...and his not telling her about bungoli🤢 might have to do with his insecurity that he may lose her...

Coomeon she is in love..brij pointed, out th age factor..and ppooja is, kind of obeying him like any little gal wud to a man older to her..and main thing is brijs bejavoiur in da past..towards her family..he has done sooo much for them..naa pooja knew brij hs an explanation and she tht if he ws marriedt the whole world wud knw...and her not worrying about her family and competittion is the way to show pooja childishness..tht, evry gal..i wud do the same..if i ws in "sapnnoke bhanwar mein" ...also she trusts brij blindly.which is gonna break soon..

a few weeks back in one of the discussion threads we were theorizing the possibility that this is indeed not a AT/MS story but an adaptation of sorts which draws elements of the AT/MS story. Given the age gap and the discrepancy of height between Pooja and BBP (this casting is verydeliberate), we theorized it could be either a Jane Eyre or an Othello.

Othello, a Shakespearean play, is a tragic romance; the lead character in the play is a very tall, dark man who is politically extremely ambitious. He has a rags to riches story. Othello is extremely noble, intelligent and also is wily in political matters. He falls in love with Desdemona, a very young naive girl with sweet singing voice. Othello elopes with her and marries her in secret. But he is slightly insecure about her love - never believing that he was worthy of such pure love or that it could exist. O's insecurity is exploited by one of his subordinates who wants political gain and creates jealousy in O's mind about Desdemona losing something as silly as a sentimental handkerchief. O thinks that she is cheating on him. Desdemona is clueless and does not understand the change in O's behavior and thinks it is political tension. O kills her in rage and then finds out what he has done and regrets it. Even when dying Desdemona defends him; O also kills himself. Through the play we see different shades in the central character - Othello - it is one of the more complex characters in Shakespearan plays. Othello has been adapted in so many different ways all over the world -and people have chosen to highlight different aspects and issues in the play.

Now the question that many contemporary playwrights have is if Desdemona had survived, would she still have continued to love Othello?

The way I have summarized the play makes it sound really insipid but it is considered one of the greatest romances written. Keep in mind I am suggesting that SKBM might be an adaptation - i.e., it is loosely based on the theme of Othello...and not necessariliy the exact play itself...post shooting I am sure we will see BBP being the scapegoat, Pooja recovering to save him and finally Brija rediscovering their love - provided of course that the serial survives!!
