Jealousy apart, BBP does not think much of Krish. Remember he took Krish to task for disrespecting Pooja's talent when she came across as a country mouse. He also disses Krish when Krish rings up Pachmarhi late at night to talk to Pooja. So while he is polite with Krish, he will not find Krish appropriate for Pooja - even if he does decide to step back - from his prayers it looks like BBP wants to do right by Pooja. Sometimes it may even mean protecting the doll from herself...
