Pooja and her friends are outside Daddaji's house and Bhavna is telling Pooja how scared they all were for her. Pooja is still glowing from Brij's touch on her foot and his glance in her direction before they left. Krish asks her if she's truly all right and asks if he can check. 🤢 He kneels down and starts checking her foot. Pooja doesn't care for it but she remembers Brij doing the same and the way he smiled at her and looked at her and spread the balm and smiles softly to herself.
Bhavna looks over at Shelley as the two of them misinterpret Pooja's smiles as being meant for Krish. Shelley is burning with jealousy. She tells Krish that she needs a ride home. Krish says he needs to drop Pooja home coz she's hurt. Shelley tells him Pooja lives in the opposite direction to her house and Bhavna can drop her. Krish wants to argue but Bhavna is being mischievous as usual and says of course she will drop Pooja home, it's very near her own. Pooja also agrees because she obviously doesn't care. 😆 Krish looks after her with a lovesick expression on his face.
When Pooja limps home, her aunt notices it and asks her what happened. Pooja explains and refuses her aunt's offer of turmeric milk. (Yuck! I would have too!)
Later, Pooja is on the balcony / terrace of her uncle's home in a plain yellow outfit, with her hair all down (it's the first time we've seen Kamna like this on the show, I think. She looks gorgeous!) She thinks back to Brij taking care of her, holding her in his arms, looking into her eyes, holding her tight when she stumbled. She closes her eyes and hugs herself tightly. As the wind blows, Brij comes up behind her and puts his arms around her. She opens her eyes in delight and the song "Sapnon ke Sheher Mein" plays as she closes them again to feel his arms around her.
Suddenly the music stops, the wind is still blowing. She looks all around her and realizes she's all alone. She goes down to her room where her cousin is once again sharing her bed. She lies down but the moment she closes her eyes, she sees Brij waving at her and she sits up with a smile on her face.
She gets up and starts writing in her diary: when her eyes are open, she feels as if she's dreaming. When her eyes are closed, she feels as if she's alive. Perhaps this is what love feels like. She's never been this happy before in her life. She finally knows what she feels but wonders if he feels the same. Is he too thinking of her the way she is thinking of him?
Brij is sitting on a swing on a terrace (his house? where does Brij live anyway? He eats at Daddaji's, he gets dressed at the office - does he even have a house?) and the same scenes are playing through his mind. But his face looks more sad than happy, he looks very alone and lost in his thoughts.
Next morning, Pooja is in a happy daze as she walks through the house. She cleans up her bedroom and softly hums a tune, waking up her cousin. She hands her puzzled uncle some clothes for washing and hands the confused dhobi a cup of tea. 😆 Mami sees all this and asks Pooja if there's something going on in her life. Pooja says it's just excitement about the trip to Mauritius but Mami says that's not a new piece of news. Something has happened in the past couple of days that's made her this happy. Pooja still denies it but Mami says she's already walked down this path that Pooja has just begun so don't bother lying to her. Pooja somehow makes her excuses and escapes but Mami doesn't look like she's going to give up that easily.
Pooja reaches the rehearsal hall and blushes thinking about her behavior. She decides to talk to Arti about it. Arti asks her about her Mahashivratri and Pooja tells her about singing for Daddaji and how she wasn't scared to sing at all. She then asks Arti how she feels when she's around Siddharth - does she want to hum a tune, smile all the time, stay lost in her thoughts and feel indescribably happy? Arti is surprised to hear these kind of thoughts from Pooja and tells her she doesn't sound like the same girl she knew.
Just then Siddharth calls Arti so she rings off but before she puts down the phone, she tells Pooja that she doesn't have Pooja's talent for singing, but yes she does feel everything else she described. Pooja is annoyed that Arti didn't spend more time examining her feelings and is instead all wrapped up in her own problems. (Hmmm, I think the shoe's going to be on the other foot eventually.) Pooja walks inside and immediately looks toward Brij's office but the door is closed. She's disappointed.
Krish and the rest see her and ask if she's ok. Krish says he called her mami's house to see if she wanted a ride to rehearsals but she'd already left. (Oh no, Mami is going to think Krish is the guy ) Shelley sulks in the background. Suddenly Pooja's phone rings and everyone acts like they've never seen a phone before. 😆 (Considering they're all rich urban kids, they've probably never seen anything so humble!) Krish asks her why she didn't let them know her number and Pooja explains that she's never used a cellphone before and needs some time to learn.
Krish and Bhavna all look at her sweet little face as they're reminded again of how different she is from them and Krish offers to teach her how to use her phone while they're setting up. Shelley watches Krish take Pooja through the different menu options and is plainly angry and jealous. Pooja meanwhile is sneaking glances at Brij's door, wondering where he is.
Brij is in the car, going somewhere. Shukla is telling him his schedule when Brij asks him when Pooja's rehearsals end. Shukla tells him they finish by about 5 and Brij says to move all his meetings to before 5. Shukla agrees. Brij takes out his phone.
Krish is teaching Pooja about messages when she receives one. Krish says it seems someone else sent her a message before him. He tells her to open it but Pooja is reluctant to do so in front of him coz it's from Brij. Shelley unexpectedly comes to the rescue when she calls Krish over to give her some unnecessary help 😆 A relieved Pooja walks over to the window to read her message in peace.
Brij has asked her if she'd like to go with him to the dargah at 5. Pooja is ecstatic as she replies yes.
Precap: A worried Brij is standing near a furious Daddaji who is yelling about someone being caught romancing a girl half his age. D. says this person has brought shame and dishonor on them all. Giridhar adds masala to the drama by saying such a man should be immediately kicked out of the party. Brij looks like he's going to be ill.
What is your problem Daddaji? Unless he's assaulting some girl half his age, it's none of your business is it? 😡 Do you think the Cvs changed the storyline from his marriage being the stumbling block to his age being the problem? Maybe he knows Daddaji is an ageist? 😆
One tiny step forward, three giant steps back. Brij is worse than the girl in these situations! 😆 One second a lion, another a mouse! I guess that's how you survive in politics! Now he's going to stand her up for the dargah, and she'll be back down like a yo yo. And then she'll hear about her cousin's crossed connection and think she's being a pile on and it's all in her mind. 😕
Since I've realized predictions are useless in this show, I can only hope that this time Pooja isn't hurt, she's mad at him. And she goes off to Mauritius ignoring him royally. Let's see how he likes that sort of behavior for a change. 😡
