Arti is cooking something when Sumitra calls out from her bedroom. In spite of taking her medicines, she's in terrible agony. Arti runs out to get Billu so she can take Sumitra to the government hospital.
At the cafe, Krish orders a cappuccino for himself and a smile for Pooja. She slowly comes back to herself as he keeps flirting with her and orders a "kaafee" for herself. Krish keeps asking her if she's ok but Pooja obviously doesn't share her feelings. He says he missed her and nothing went right. Pooja is puzzled but he immediately deflects and says its because she's the lead singer.
He points out that this is the first time they've spent any time together and compliments her on the improvement of her singing. He wonders if she's being so quiet and withdrawn because she's angry about his behavior from before. Pooja assures him that she's long forgotten the whole thing.
Krish immediately sticks his hand out and asks, "Friends?" They shake hands and he asks her to stop calling him "ji". She agrees and says its time they went back. Krish is a little disappointed but agrees.
The rest of the troupe have arrived and are highly interested to learn that Pooja and Krish came extra early and went out by themselves. Shelly is pissed, Bhavna is grinning.
In his office Brij is thinking of the morning as well and is clearly feeling terrible about it. He's thinking something as he sees Pooja and Krish returns and he heads out of the office toward her but some people come in to congratulate him. After they leave, he goes over to where the bouquets are kept and reads Pooja's card - "May success always kiss your footsteps, Pooja Tiwary". He's touched.
He sees Pooja's sad little face and looks like he feels worse than ever. He finally goes out and he and Pooja steal glances at each other. Krish congratulates him on his victory and he shakes hands with the others as well. Pooja is standing there quietly watching him with her heart in her eyes.
Brij goes up to her but at the last moment he smiles and turns away - Giridhar has just come in and Brij says he wondered why G. didnt come to the rally and invites him to the office. He attends to a phone call and leads the way into the office but G. stops in his tracks behin him when he notices Pooja standing there.
Krish is giving Pooja some notes on her singing when G. comes up and starts talking in a really insulting way to Pooja. He says he's heard a lot about Pooja's singing from Brij and this is a good opportunity to hear it. He says he also heard from Krish that he couldn't even rehearse properly without Pooja, that Krish is always talking about her. Krish looks awkward and Pooja puzzled.
Brij has finished his phone call and hears this bit about Krish and there is an arrested look on his face. 😆😈
G. orders her to sing something for him. She looks disturbed so he says if she's this way here in front of him, what's she going to do in Mauritius?
Finally Krish says he's welcome to listen in to their rehearsal but G. interrupts and says if there's going to be singing, why isn't there dancing? Krish is clearly getting more and more upset as is the rest of the troupe but G. is being very careful to keep his tone insulting but his words unobjectionable so nobody can say anything esp since they are in his party office. Shelley is the only one happy by this behavior. Pooja is tearing up and Krish is now outright angry as he stands in one corner.
G. sits down in an armchair right opposite Pooja and starts listening and watching the performance like he's sitting for a private mujra. Bhavna dances as Pooja sings mechanically without any of her usual passion. He and his henchmen are passing comments and seem to be enjoying themselves.
Meanwhile, Brij is watching this whole thing from the window in his office and he's getting angrier and angrier by the second and more and more upset as he watches Pooja's face. Finally, he's had enough and he storms out of his office and starts yelling at the troupe that this is a party office, not a disco and with whose permission did they start playing music so loudly?
Everyone is shocked and Pooja looks terrified at this unexpected change in her hero. G. is equally puzzled and says he asked them to play. Brij scolds G. for wasting time in singing and dance when he thought they were going to sit down to serious business after this victory. G. is taken aback and meekly goes to Brij's office 😆
Brij tells Krish to pack up and not return that day. Krish agrees and everyone packs up. Pooja is left standing there again, with tears in her eyes, unable to believe this is the same man she knew just the previous night.
Precap: Pooja is sadly eating dinner with her uncle's family and gets up saying she has no appetite. Later, her aunt is sitting with her on the bed and Pooja breaks down in sobs.
I know everybody on this forum is firmly Team Brija but I honestly felt a little bit bad for Krish today. Pls don't throw joote chappal 😆 but he was really trying hard to be nice to her and I could actually see why Pooja might like him - compared to Brij, he's uncomplicated and straightforward. A lot like poor, naive Pooja baby's urban, male version.
I'm really excited to see how Brij makes it all up to Pooja. 😍
