In Panchmarhi, Harivansh comes home and finds Sumitra and Aarti are out. He learns they went to the doctor and Sumitra has a stomach ache for which she now has medicines. He is worried and scolds Sumitra for not taking care of herself.
Krish is waiting to see if Pooja will come for rehearsals that day itself since she told him she would reach Bhopal that day. Sulky Shelley comes and tells him its already 6 pm, Pooja is a no-show, Krish is acting like a moron and she wants a lift home from him. Krish is irritated by her and tells her to wait. He calls Pooja's aunt to see what happened.
Pooja's aunt says she forgot to tell Pooja Krish had been calling all day and calls her to the phone. Pooja thinks Brij might be calling but is disappointed to hear its Krish. He acts all familiar with her and she offers to go in and rehearse that day but he tells her its ok, he'll see her the next day. He's disappointed.
As Krish and Shelley leave, they bump into Giridhar who is surprised by their early packup. He learns Pooja was also in Panchmarhi while Brij was there and seems suspicious of this.
Giridhar and Brij trade barbs in Brij's office. Brij asks Gridhar why he isnt congratulating him on the Aparajita case and that he knows Giridhar is always his biggest supporter although he doesnt like to show it. Once upon a time Giridhar would have been first to distribute sweets at Brij's success. Giridhar says that kidnapping Aparajita was a sensational step and Brij points out that he didnt kidnap her, she walked out of her own choice. Giridhar sourly tells him Daddaji wants to see him.
Just then the peon brings in the basket of berries and Brij says even though Giridhar didnt offer him any sweets, he'll offer G. some berries but G. refuses. Brij says he didn't add any poison to them and comes around his desk and personally selects some to share with G.
Over G.'s head, Brij notices through the window that his driver is coming to meet him with Pooja's bag in his hand. Brij immediately asks the peon to put the basket in G.'s car to take home to Daddaji and on his way out tell the driver to wait for him in the car.
Unaware of all this, G. munches his unwanted berries and says they can go together but Brij says no, he has some business to take care of first, and over G.'s head watches the peon deliver the message and the driver return to the car. Brij is relieved.
In her aunt's house, Pooja is helping in the kitchen by peeling potatoes. She is completely lost in her memories of Brij and isnt paying any attention to her aunt. The doorbell rings and her aunt goes to answer it, so Pooja automatically attends to the dish.
Except she is still lost in Brij and adds all the potato peels instead of the potatoes. š¤£
The aunt is delighted when she discovers Brij's driver at the front door, holding "Pooja madam's" purse. She calls for Pooja who is horrified to see what she's done and hastily tries to fix everything š Pooja finds out that Brij is waiting out at the car so she runs out to meet him and leaves her frustrated aunt to receive her purse and follow after her.
Brij is leaning against the car with a smile on his face but is surprised when Pooja comes out to see him. He asks her why she bothered and she tells him she wanted to see him. Then she realizes what she said and gets flustered š so she says "... because you came all this way to return my bag." š¤£ She keeps on explaining herself and goes on and on about how she needs to thank him and how she thought she'd lost the purse and blah blah blah and he keeps smiling at her and notices her twisting her hands the way she does when she gets tense.
Finally, Pooja stutters to a stop and Brij says very simply he should thank the purse because he got a chance to see her so soon. Pooja blushes and smiles at him.
They're both being very cute and shy when her horrible aunt runs up and starts buttering him up, inviting him inside the house, remarking about the neighbors and how hairaan pareshaan they must be to see such a celebrity standing in the street, and pretty much nominates him to be the chief guest at some charity show she's organizing.
Brij and Pooja are less than thrilled and Pooja looks embarrassed. Brij skilfully gets out of the whole situation and leaves. Pooja looks after him with a smile on her face.
Precap - Pooja is getting dressed in the morning with special care and says to herself that she needs to hurry and leave because "he" must have already reached there. āŗļø
