CHAP-8

KABIR RESIDENCE

Kabir was getting ready and wore a black t shirt and jeans and was thinking how to propose rachana .he gave a thought on all ways like sitting on knees and shouting from the building of London design school but then drop the idea of shouting as he will be a laughing stock for everybody if rachana rejected him .he was so confused that he thought to have this discussion with Vihaan and called him .

Kabir: hey buddy, howz you?

Vihaan : kabir, I was just about to call you whats up?

Kabir : I am confused and want to have a word with you. please meet me in the college lawn half an hour before the usual time ohk.

Vihaan : ohk well I also want to have a word with you will be there soon .

LAWN AT LONDON SCHOOL

Vihaan parked his car and was thinking that kabir will be late as usual but was surprised to see kabir standing there and it seemed to him that he was waiting since a very long time. he thought that maybe something is very serious and rushed to kabir .

Vihaan : what happened kabir? Is everything alright?

Kabir; I want to propose rachana .

Vihaan :( hell shocked and little bit frustrated too) you what ?are you serious ?but she is our friend kabir and suddenly now you want to propose her and you are liking her . I told you in a very straightforward manner kabir that rachana is not that girl to be played along.

Kabir: but listen Vihaan I really started loving her and now I want to propose her before anyone else does .

Kabir was telling about many qualities of rachana and his interest towards her but Vihaan was lost in some other world and paid no heed to kabir thoughts. he was thinking all the lovely moments with rachana and their first greeting when Vihaan saved rachana from falling and even remembered all the memories regarding the night when rachana was unconscious in a drunken state .He was lost in his own world and came out of his world only when kabir shake off his shoulders.

Kabir: hey Vihaan please listen to me .

Vihaan: (came to his senses and moved his face away to control his tear filled eyes and then towards kabir) so what are you waiting for kabir? If you are that much serious then propose her .May be she also have the same feelings for you

The time when Vihaan was saying all this his heart ached like someone is killing him with a dagger inside him and he is so helpless to not to even stop it.

Although kabir was very happy and hugged Vihaan and asked him

Kabir: hey well I hadn't ask this question earlier but today only you can answer me. vihaan ,how to propose her because you know her much better than me . All my charm and tactics are a failure in front of that tigress.

Vihaan(with a heavy heart and putting a mask of a fake smile) kabir , rachana is a very down to earth girl and you should say her in a simple way.if she has feelings for you, she will accept your proposal.

Kabir got relieved and thanked Vihaan and hugged him but he sensed that something was not right with Vihaan and remembered that Vihaan too want to have a talk with him.

Kabir: hey Vihaan ,in my excitement I almost forgot that you want to talk to me too and is there anything that troubling you ?

Vihaan knew that although kabir couldn't read his thoughts but he could read his face very well so changed his mood in a second and told him

Vihaan:no kabir , its not like that .i just had a confusion regarding which car to buy so thought to ask you as you have ample of knowledge in these matters and I was just tensed because of mom health.

Kabir: are you sure Vihaan that you are not hiding anything from me?

Vihaan (pointing in a direction) : kabir, see someone is proposing rachna !

Kabir moved his face in the specified direction but couldn't find rachana anywhere and here Vihaan started laughing on kabir.

Vihaan : see your position is in danger and please don't waste any time .

Kabir showed a punch to Vihaan and hugged him in excitement and moved towards the class but looked behind for Vihaan.

Kabir: are you not coming ?

Vihaan : No ,I just came here to have a talk with you ,bye kabir and all the best .

And Vihaan finally went leaving behind an amazed and concerned kabir.

IN CLASS IN THE SCHOOL

Rachana was sitting and fiddling with the pen .suddenly her pen fall from her grip and as she bend down to pick her pen and was about to hold the pen from one side ,kabir came and hold the pen from the other side and both have an eyelock.at that time their inner souls only want the world to stop then and there only. suddenly rachana came into her senses and just snatched the pen from kabir which even didn't went unnoticed from kabir .he composed himself and sat next to her .

kabir: hi rachana ,how are you?

Rachana (in a little cold way) : I am fine kabir

Kabir: want to go for a cup of coffee .then we will go for sightseeing.

Rachana: I cant kabir because I have some work today .

Kabir:but we will go in the break time please come rachna please please

Rachna :(in a firm way) enough kabir ,for me work is more important for me than this roaming around here and there .

Kabir was about to say something but the class started .

Vardhan sir: guys ,this is the first assignment in which you have to collect the fabric all by yourself and give me a rough sketch of how to use this fabric in your design and the reason for choosing the fabric. So its all for today as you have a day off to search for your material so buck up guys.

Rachan was very much worried as as she don't know much regarding the places where can buy that stuff. she asked vardhan sir about this and seeing this a very good opportunity kabir interrupted

Kabir: sir, if you allow then I will take her as I am going there only

Although rachana was little hesitant to go but due to vardhan sir insistence she too agreed .

AT THE FABRIC MARKET

Kabir and rachana were selecting their fabric and took a lot of time because when one chooses something the other have objection and this went on and finally they both put their hands on the same fabric and their hunt was over unaware of the fact somewhere their most important part is in a great mess

VIHAAN RESIDENCE

Vihaan was in a position no one can imagine ever of. One of the most chilled guy away from all the worries was lying like a lifeless corpse with his eyes open on his bed .the room was filled with so much darkness which seems that he himself don't want a single ray of hope and sunshine to enter in his room and life to fill this darkness with joy and and happiness .he was somewhere devastated trying to compose himself. Without talking to kabir about his feelings he got the answer that he also has started loving rachana .His mind was occupied with so many thoughts both devil and angelic and each one was trying to overpower the other .

Devil: you should not have done this, atleast you could also propose rachana and let her then decide who to choose

Angel: what he has done is right , kabir is your best friend and cant you sacrifice your growing emotions for her .

Vihaan was so irritated with these thoughts that he just shouted to stop and the next moment he was blank with tension and sweat all over his face . although he shouted but this was the first phrase that he uttered from his mouth after so many hours of silence and loneliness .

ON THE STREET

Rachana and kabir were on the footpath waiting to cross the street the other way . Kabir find this the best opportunity and ask rachana

Kabir: hey rachana , please now lets have a cup of coffee now your work is also over

Rachana (amazed and little bit irritated) : kabir , i told you i have no free time for roaming here and there ,so please back off.

Kabir: please , i want to confess you something please .

Rachana : kabir, if its that important say me here or else , there is green light for walking and i am going all by myself .

Rachna start walking towards the other street but kabir held her hand and pulled her and shouted

Kabir: I love you rachana and i really love you.

Rachana was shocked and although her inner soul was melting like ice but she stayed firm and told kabir

Rachana : are you serious kabir ? You are just my friend and nothing else and this cant be even possible . I came here to complete my education and please let me do that only.

Kabir: but i know that you have feelings for me remember the dance...

Rachana: stop it, leave me alone

Rachana started walking towards the the zebra crossing without realising that the green light for walking had turned into red . Rachna was walking and kabir who was disappointed suddenly saw a car coming towards her and rachana is also not paying heed to the horns and car was coming towards her

Kabir shouted RACHANAA

PRECAP- vihaan was running in hospital like anything and had teary filled eyes.

That's all and once again sorry for updating so late ,what to say as I was out of town because of important work. Hope u all will like it and criticisms and suggestions are wholly welcomed. hope that this update will compensate for the delay
