I see many people unhappy with Rachna s actions on Holi and are pretty vocal about it , so instead of replying to each post I thought to make a new one as It would be easier to summarize .
Rachna as a character has always been impulsive right from Day 1. She is not only impulsive but when emotions get the better of her she opens her heart out to the other person. She never keeps anything inside and s a pure soul who does not know how to fake it. Be it confessing her love to Rajeev twice , or misunderstanding her sister in the hockey track and actually speaking up time and again. On the other hand she also s ready to give up everything when she s emotional. She handed the FOTY trophy to Gunjan on a platter, she was ready to leave her Delhi fashion competition as well.
How can you expect her to not be Rachna like and act like some other strange person just coz the person here is Kabir ? So that Kabir loves her should she change her entire personality ?? 😕
Ok coming to what happened - Rachna started feeling someone is stalking her , and suddenly she finds Kabir in close proximity . He who has always scolded her and behaved professionally is now holding her dupatta, giving her lifts, and arranging her jewellery When he did that there was a lot of touching and we fan girls had no shame we also called it a SR 😆 . SO when a girl experiences it from a BOSS who she has absolutely no feelings for and asked to do something which s not a part of her job how should she feel ? She endures his harsh treatment and the touching silently , she then sees her picture in her boss drawer with lines praising her physical attributes and her ear ring kept along with it how should she feel ? Would nt any normal girl feel VIOLATED ??
Then the electricity goes and he appears in the dark and holds her again she is shaken . The night before th Holi party she gets this
from her Boss s number . if any of your boss sends it it s called SEXUAL HARASSMENT. imagine if the man was not Kabir and someone else ,, It s not the first time she is experiencing it either Mintu has also tried something similar . SO should she keep quiet and suffer ? am sure she would b criticized for not speaking up then 😆 ...Se does not speak up until he comes to the room where she s changing and he s shirtless .. Any normal girl would scream and Rachna a character who s meek and subdued actually had the guts to speak up against what she believed was injustice 👏. . We should be happy her character has some growth at least in the spine department instead of questioning her brains😃. It was not that she was made a fool in a day it took some calculative planning and any gal would react if sh thinks her honour s at stake .. Rachna did not make a public tamasha it turned into one , she was screaming on him inside a room , when only they were present between the 4 walls..
For me her behavior yesterday was not only justified I will ask her to repeat the same in future as well 👍🏼
