TOI mayank to give charu divorcee - Page 3

Well, it just says Mayank "WILL" decide to divorce, not that he surely will so you never know... I don't think Charu will divorce him & that she's going anywhere this soon. Indian soaps can work without the protagonist but not without the antagonist. We might get a Flashback of how maybe Mayank & Charu consummated their relationship in the spur of a moment or because of some plan of Charu & during the divorce proceedings, it maybe revealed that she's pregnant with Mayank's Child & in this situation, there's no way in hell that the family will allow them to get divorced & it will forever bind Mayank with Charu ending the possibility of Mayank & Gunjan. I know that it sounds like the most cliche plot but its the most obvious twist in such a situation. This or Charu may not be revealed anytime soon. She ain't going anywhere atleast till the girls are married & then have to deal with their Sasuraal People.

In any way, I DO NOT want Mayank & Gunjan together. Gunjan is a Smart, level-headed, no nonsense kinda girl whereas I never really understood what kinda character is he. I've always been annoyed with his presence but the final blow for me for his character, was when he insulted gunjan on their engagement day & later his suicidal attempt. Like W*F is wrong with this guy?! Agreed that his mother & chachi were the ones to create all the misunderstanding but I think he's old enough to make his own decisions & not be influenced. What if they both had got married & Seema & Sangeeta would have done all the plotting after marriage? Would he still say that marrying Gunjan is the worst thing I've done & that Charu is the better woman, he should've gotten married to her instead?! Yes he probably would being the Insecure brat that he is! He even got insecure when gunjan hugged her guy friends from Mumbai like a narrow minded male who can't tolerate his would be wife with someone else. This was not even planned by his mother, chachi & charu, which potrayed his actual insecure persona. & then the ridiculous suicide attempt, that did it for me for his Character. Probably no sympathy from my side even if he died. For me committing suicide is the worst form of proving love to someone. He didn't care for his life or the unconditional love from his family for a girl who he barely knew for a couple months. A person who cannot respect his parents love can never love someone else. Gunjan is actually saved from marrying him & am sure she'll have a much better life with someone else.who not only loves but understands her completely. As they say, zindagi sirf pyaar se Nahi chalti, there are other essential things which Mayank certainly can't provide Gunjan.

Rajeev is the best match for Gunjan IMO simply because they are two damaged souls, who have only Shail & Vihaan to love them respectively, have no mother on whose shoulder they can cry on & both have probably lost the 1st love of their lives. So both of them will probably have a lot of Understanding & the relationship will be stable. Opposite do attract but there needs to be a balance if similar & contrasting emotions for a relationship to be successful in the Long Run & Rajeev & Gunjan have that potential.

Hashii: Awww. I am glad you agree with me. Mayank is totally cringe inducing for me & I was actually hesitant to post my views on Mayank, thinking his fans would might feel bad but then decided to go with it when I read a few posts & realised that the forum is actually quite welcoming of views 🤗
