Downfall of Mayank is almost certain looking ahead now. But as much as I hate to say this Gunjan also has a hand in this.

Yes, Mayank started the getting married to Charu jaap but Gunjan's decision left a scar on him.

Would it have been different if Gunjan just refused to get married to him instead of placing Charu there?

Would Mayank have reacted the same way seeing Gunjan with Rajeev if he wasn't married?

What do you guys think?

P.S don't get me wrong I still don't like him😆

I have to disagree here. What does he expect? That Gunjan should remain single forever? Honestly, this is what he wanted. He had no trust at all in her. He treated Gunjan badly and insulted her in front of family and friends on their engagement also, similar to what Vihaan did to Rachna as a matter of fact. He said to all present that Charu was the better girl for him.
Yes, Gunjan should not have sent Charu in her place but the way I see it is that she was making his mother happy, and that was something he was most adamant about.
Appart from that, when he broke the engagement with Gunjan, he was upset with her "character" and they were in love with each other. What was the need to announce that he should marry Charu? Why didn't he end the engagement only?
Who can say that even if Mayank and Gunjan got back together, when they had other tiffs, he would not want back Charu?
If he wants to make things better, he needs to end his marriage to Charu. Then and only then, should he bring up anything about loving Gunjan and wanting to get back with her. Even organising the whole valentine day celebration was wrong. He has a wife and his behaviour now, will only give Gunjan a bad name.
So in essence, Mayank is behaving along similar lines to Vihaan,..when you get right down to it. Even Mayank is blackmailing Gunjan with his threat yet again to commit suicide if she doesn't do what he wants.
Grow up Mayank and be a man. If he wants to die then just do it instead of blackmailing Gunjan.
PS: Sorry if I went off topic here but I am sure that you can see that I really hate Mayank.

I think what burns Mayank the most is that he was not the one that decided the marry Charu (yes, he may have said it but to actually go through with the ceremony, no). Had he been the one who went through with the marriage with both eyes wide open then perhaps he would be able to move forward. I don't know... All I know is that I would feel cheated, hurt and really angry (if I were in his shoes). I wouldn't accept my marriage situation for a long, long, long time.

I didn't watch the initial episodes so I am not a Mayank and Gunjan fan, I have made a lot of posts hating on him😆. But ever since I have seen those episodes where he insulted her, I'm glad they broke up because to me he looked like a selfish a** and Gunjan is my favorite character. So naturally I wasn't happy with hwo he treated her.

Yes, Gunjan should not have sent Charu in her place but the way I see it is that she was making his mother happy, and that was something he was most adamant about. This is where I want to give him that one little benefit of doubt and this is what this post is about. I think instead of replacing her self with Charu she should have just said no to marriage. Because she put Charu in her place, it gives Mayank a free ticked to use this against her all her life.

Who can say that even if Mayank and Gunjan got back together, when they had other tiffs, he would not want back Charu? I'm not sure if he would truly want to get back with Charu but yes if they had another fight it seems that he would not hesitate repeating what he did before.

Even organising the whole valentine day celebration was wrong. He has a wife and his behaviour now, will only give Gunjan a bad name. It is already giving Gunjan a bad name. I absolutely don't like this second wife drama.

Whoever said that Vihaan is worse then Mayank, I think I would like to disagree now.

PS: Sorry if I went off topic here but I am sure that you can see that I really hate Mayank. Lol😆 But yes don't we all hate him right now?

My only problem is she put Charu in place of her... And I know she did that with all good intentions but that one move like I said will let Mayank taunt her and blame her.

P.S I hate him too and I would rather have Gunjan single then end up with him😆

But the point I'm trying to get at is :

Mayank chose his downfall e.g. obsessing over Gunjan and not moving on. But Gunjan did not have the right to choose Charu as his wife.
