I understand your POV but respectfully disagree. I will tell you my reasons.

Gunjan just came from being kidnapped and the threat of another acid on her. That must have shoken the poor girl to the core. She comes back (acting to be all strong and fine for Rachana's big day) and then she gets another threat from Vihaan. Surely he has something that she feels may be bad for the full family if it is revealed in public. However smart she is, there are place and time to show that. I am sure she will reveal Vihaan's plan with full proof in future but has to follow him for now in front of the public.

Now if the Cvs does not show to be smartly getting the truth of this whole fiasco out and just obeying Vihaan then i will agree with you that the show is unbelievable and they have slayed her character.
