Hello everyone, this is Roopal Tyagi whom you know as Gunjan from Zee TV's ongoing show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.

To start with, a li'l bit about me. Born and brought up in Bangalore where my parents and younger brother stay, I completed my schooling and later did my college in Commerce from there itself.

During my college days, I used to be an assistant choreographer of Poony Verma assisting her in many films helmed by Priyadarshan. But after a point, I thought I should not be behind the camera and should try my luck in television.

When I went to meet a friend of mine who was casting for his new show, he suggested that I come down for the audition process since, according to him, I was apt for the character. Accordingly, next day, I went for the auditions after which everything got finalized. That's how I bagged my first television soap Hamari Betiyon Ka Vivah. Later I did Fauji-2, Choti Si Zindagi, Dill Mill Gayye. Currently, I am a part of Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan Ke.

Talking about my journey, it has been very good. My struggling days actually started when I was doing daily soap and at the same time completing my graduation. It was very difficult for me to handle both the things. Then there was a time when I had to travel from Bangalore to Mumbai to seek work. And now I am very happy to be part of this show. In fact, after the latest TRP ratings have come in, the entire cast and crew are in a party mood as we have done immensely well.

On the personal front, I love to dance and since I am big time foodie, I love cooking and experiment in making new dishes.
