This is not just mayank or vihaan.
Who will you choose a man you love but whose life style does not match yours neither does your mother in law like you.

Or would you go for a guy who could fulfill your materialistic desires and have a similar lifestyle? An added bonus would be a decent mother in law who likes you for what you are and has no problems the way you dress and behave.

When you fall in love you don't think about the family, lifestyle or any other thing. Love just happens! Which love story doesn't have thorns in their path?

But if I have to choose I will choose a guy that I love nothing is better or bigger than love and if the guy has a similar lifestyle it will easier to cope and put up with. And a MIL who likes you would be terrific! But if he doesn't.
Have a similar lifestyle and his family hates you then its gonna be time to test your love if its true or not. There will be hurdles and thorns in your path but if you can get through that then you will be fine.

Btw I'm less experienced in these matters but I just put down what I think and feel one should do if a matter like that arises in their lives.

Love this topic Vibz! I would go for someone who respects my self-respect!

I may not live in India but I am a girl of today's society, hence, I was brought up to value my self-respect the most. I would NEVER marry someone who feels that yelling at me in front of the family for trivial, materialistic things just to prove his perspective of things!!!! 😡😡

People fall in love with a person for who they see and know. Later trying to change that person simply means you did not fall in love from the inception. Instead, the guy just wanted a girl who he feels is gullible enough to change everything about herself to his whims and fantasies!

EDIT: Marriage is also a different ball-game. When one marries, they also have to remember that they are marrying into a family as well. Family's importance may vary according to persons. But still family is there and what the family thinks about one's spouse does matter, even if he/she tries to deny it.

Great thought Vibz👍🏼
My choice would be the one ( Already made mine😡😆) who is not judgemental. To spend an entire life on compromises is too much in the asking be it a boy or girl.
I would like to choose a guy to grow old with who will accept me the way I am and not try to control or change me. if that is the case then he is not in love but in Control
COMPATIBILITY is the word which is the most important issue you have to look at, The rest of the things are secondary.
I believe that if you are not happy you cannot make anybody happy around you.It is fine to make Adjustments but compromises 😡 Am not for that

I do not believe that Opposites attract👎🏼
.
It looks good as a phrase or to sketch a caricature in the celluloid world But not in real life. if you do not have anything in common it is as good as two strangers living under the same roof. so my choice is Obvious after all this Ranting🤣

Loved your reply MSN_Vanny⭐️

I do not conform.
If a man wants to be with me, then he has to like me for who I am and what I am. He cannot disrespect me by shouting at me in front of friends and family especially when I am not wrong. If I wanted to be yelled at like a child then I would stay in my parents' house instead of marrying!!
If he has a problem with anything at anytime, we can discuss it like human beings in private.

If my MIL does not like me, that is her right. It won't be a problem as long as she doesn't cross me. I don't want anyone disrespecting my mother so I would offer the same respect to my MIL.
