I am worried about hurricane Sandy

I am worried about Hurricane Sandy I hope that all my NJ and NY friends are safe and that it wont harm us. I live in CA and the tempeture is fine but my friends say that it might rain or turn cold tomorrow on Halloween I pray for all my friends here on IF. So stay safe my dear friends!!!!

New Jersey is facing wide spread power cuts. I was lucky since there was only 9 - 10 hour power cut at my home. But colleges are closed and the hurricane affected businesses too.

I'm in Queens, NY. I'm in the middle of the Island, so we didn't get any flooding. However, the wind was 70-80mph, so a lot of trees falling and thus electricity down as well. We got lucky, we didn't even lose power. People 2 blocks away and all of the surrounding areas had power loss. I went out today, people are resuming regular activities again. It's a good sign. Biggest problem is the subway, people need to get to Manhattan to work. Hopefully, partial service will be resumed within 2-3 days. My mother works for a company for the airport, she's been home for the past 3 days but she is going back tomorrow. All will be okay soon. :)

ok so cali people want rain...even i want guys. i live in fresno and there was not a single drop of rain this summer and i used to pray god to have some mercy and give us some rain but no, dis summer was disaster. Fall has started and there was only 1 session of rain up till now which remained for 2-3 days only...hope god give some of the effect of east coast here in west side too...AND GUYS IN EAST COAST..DONT WORRY..JUST BE SAFE AND TAKE CARE..STORM HAS GONE, PRAY TO GOD THAT U R SAFE...GOD BLESS U ALL...😉
