And i don't how other regions of west..

As a south Indian from Bangalore karnataka , tamilnad, Andorra parades, kerala ,,,

in all the south states... This mayank and gunjan will be related as brother and sister...

And i don't know how the north region and west region ppl agree to this mayanks and gunjan story...

And my mom felt disgusted... After i explained how mayank and gunjan are related...

She said is their Varanasi ppl or banaras ppl do have like this type of customs...

But in south India completely no no

^^ I am a South Indian too. My own chacha's son (chitappa as we call in Tamil) has married my mother's sister's daughter.

Nobody found anything wrong. So I have example in my own family. I quoted my North Indian friends cos this is a North Indian serial.

I have very valid info and I check with my friends multiple times before posting.

Anyway this is my last post for this topic. People who find this relationship wrong are always going to find it wrong and people who find this relationship right are always going to find it right.

The arguments will never end and the twain shall never meet.

i am basically from haryana born and brought up in west bengal so I know both the cultures well. Mayank and Gunjan relation will not be accepted anywhere around delhi-haryana-punjab and neither in west bengal.

I think you have some personal problem with this relationship, bcoz I am not against the discussion of Mayank & Gunjan being Cousins or Not, But by GOD's grace I dont have any grudges in life that I take such things personally & start attacking ppl..

You always say that u are tired of arguing , but I wonder how come I see ur post after anybody replies 😲

Everybody will wait for ur reply with some personal comments & attacks ... 😃

Mayank and Gunjan's relationship is taken as valid in the entire Southern and Western states of India. By population that's around 60% of India.

I understand that such relationship is not valid in your community, but it is valid in my community. So neither of us is wrong.

I checked with my Kayasta and Vaishya community friends from UP, some say its valid and some say its not valid. My friend with a Garg surname got married (arranged marriage) the Gunjan/Mayank type of relationship and she did not face any questions at all.

So I conclude that its to do with individual communities/families. So people who are posting in the forum welcoming this relationship(like me) are doing so because it is allowed in their families and hence see nothing wrong.

At the end of the day the serial is based in Varanasi, so the CVs should check what the communities there feel. If the majority there feel the relationship is incorrect then I agree that it should not be shown.

Sorry dear as south Indians will never agree for this marriage a brother marrying sister...

In ur understanding ...

May be since i am unaware of north Indian ppl u may say this...that mayank and gunjan are not bro and sister..

I know south Indian customs very well no where south Indians will do a marriage which are totally out of their culture,,

as i have seen a couple who are coins who had committed mistake before marriage and girl got pregnant before marriage... And the ppl of society made them out of their custom and relations

they have son of 27 now they are happily living but that son goes through inferiority complex as the relation what his parents share...

So don't say that south Indians allow this...

Cross cousin marriage like brothers son can marry sisters daughter...

And vice versa is allowed in south

brother can marry sisters daughter is allowed...

In south India

but a brother marrying sister is not allowed

videosearcher if u list some reaction which was ofcourse because of ur SO CALLED NON-PERSONAL ACTIONS and also try to create hatred again in this forum by taking out wrong meaning of something i asked to a member casually and he did not mind at all...what do u think will happen?

If u think ur smart enough well and fine...but pls do not think that other members are fools...everybody is educated enough to see here who is doing what.
