Shayl considers that relation between mayan as some sort of a game / attraction which wont last for long. What according to you is a must in a relationship for it to last . Fairy tales and happy endings are only in mills and boons while in real life every day is a struggle and one has to work on their relationship throughout your life.

So what s love for you? Or which quality you think is must in a relation?

According to me the two people in the relationship must be happy and satisfied with their lives only then will they go to any limit to make the other person happy. Also there should be an understanding where you know what the other person is actually saying , specialy when the other person is lying you need to catch it. Would like to know your take on the age old topic :)

I think for a person of the opposite sex should begin with respect. Respect the person for who she/he is and what they represent. You should be able to understand the person and their lifestyle and accept them. When those happen, attraction/love naturally occurs. Trust is also very important.

@Italics - I put attraction/love because not always those feelings I stated represents love. Only a person can understand the emotions they are feeling and be able to evaluate them, given they are in the most fit state of mind.

i am 24. I think Relations can be successful if both of them want the relation to work they will easily reach a compromise. Ego is definately a huge factor which both have to let go :) . I also think absence of physical violence be it just a push /shove is very necessary for a blessed relation :)

attraction is also an important aspect . There needs to be some sort of attraction or spark which will keep the romance alive for a long time :)

@ u yourself might see the change here ...happy girl was quiet offended in one of the post ...she must be definetly a teenager ...u r 24 so u have started accepting criticism or debate as a natural thought process ...my age i get offended immediately but the next minute i start thinking rationaaly ...and this applies to everything ...yes relations can work out if both r ready to compromise ,,,,,but family plays a very big role in india esp the near ones

romance in a relation disappears when u become responsible or have responsibilties esp after kids ...but i think kids tie u down plus more thanr romance ...family ...responsibilities some cases financial stability ...and respect makes the relation work

family s are ready to help only if its an arranged marriage. If vice family is unhappy with your choice there s hardly any support. You end up being the example for everyone in your family and neighbourhood.

is this girl happy after sacrificing her religion life style and even her name? I am really curious :) i think she is really lucky if her parents accepted the conversion. her mil is a really sweet, she is taking care of this girl like she would take care of someone who she would chose for her son.
