They're not showing that the kiss was to develop her confidence. They are just showing two young people who got caught in the moment. Many young people do, that's a fact. And I think it's good that on this serial they will show the consequences of getting caught up in the moment. I thought it was a very well done, effective and clean scene. Certainly much cleaner than the rapes and scheming and murders they show on screen.
