Bidaai producer Rajan Shahi sacks two actors on date issues; makes it mandatory for all actors to produce an NOC

Rajan Shahi, producer and series director of Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, was forced to device a way to curb indiscipline among actors who have committed breach of contract, not with him but with another production house! On learning that two actors on his show were already committed with another production house he not only replaced them, but made it mandatory for all other actors to produce an NOC from other production houses before starting work with him.

Bidaai's Ragini collapses on sets

Television actress Parul Chauhan, who plays Ragini in Bidaai on Star Plus, collapsed on the sets while shooting for the serial.

This happened when she was shooting for a Valentine's special show. She was finding the dance steps difficult to master, and the due to the constant retakes, exhaustion took its toll. Her co-star, Sara Khan, was with her when this occurred. Parul was taken backstage and given first aid. A doctor was later called.

Parul later told the media that she was mentally disturbed as her brother was in hospital and that she had not been eating proper for a good few days.
