I refuse to consider the opening as decent , I expected 60 grps , it at least got double at what Starone ended ie 44 grps. I feel a good start and my big thumbs up to Life ok, I love watching Mahadev, Main Laxmi Tere Angan ki and Zindagi Kahe smile please. Looking forward to another show Shapath and ofcourse my fav show Aasman Se Aage.😃😳

Yes Rekha, I liked the presentation of the channel as a whole itself, I liked teh Live concert performance, that was just for online viewering which was to launch the channel, Nice way it was budgeted I guess and they were able to get amazing viewership,

Yes even I expected about 60 grps its at 87 which us amazing.

Overall the catering shows are nice and MD as sutradaar is also getting some benefits for the channel...

This is a well planned researched execution and catering to the millions of people viewing the channel with the way they wish to give content and depth of revisiting and restoring some orientations which viewers are shown in this channel than going towards newer areas , for now which may or maynot change in the further progress

Promos signal an upcoming show , at present Life ok is airing coming soon for Shapath, let Apu's show promo come then only we will know when it will air.

I know two shows which are going to start maybe after SKS ends..

So the other time slots will also have to be filled.
Shapat is airing promos so after SKS that will be the first one..

Also TB had given news of many other shows which will be aired on Stardesh which changed to LifeOK so it all depends on the promos

New Year I guess will have those shows and Apu's shows also when its all set

MUMBAI: Star India's latest Hindi general entertainment offering -- Life OK --has opened its inning with 87 GRPs (gross rating points) and at No. 6 among the Hindi GECs, as per TAM data for week 52 of 2011 (18-24 December). Life OK, which was launched on 18 December, has even displaced Imagine TV to No. 7.

Incidentally, Life OK has opened to double of what Star One had been averaging week-on-week. In the week 51, when Star India pulled the plug on Star One, the channel had clocked 44 GRPs.

Interestingly, the last big launch, Colors, had opened with total GRPs of 81, when it was launched in July 2008. Other Hindi GECs like Imagine TV (then NDTV Imagine) had debuted with 55 GRPs in its first week of launch (20-26 January, 2008); 9X recorded a GRP of 21 when launched while Zee Next crawled with a 6 GRP in its opening week. Life OK was launched with an innovative full-fledged programming schedule. The array of shows included reality, soaps and mythology and movie content. The channel got a push in its ratings with upfront shows like Rajeev Khandelwal hosted Sach Ka Saamna, UTV Television produced Saubhagyavati Bhava (highest average rating), Mahadev and Meri Maa. Life OK lags behind market leader big brother Star Plus, Sony Entertainment Television, Colors, Zee TV and Sab. Media observers say that the channel has pumped in big monies on distribution and promotion of the channel and the daily programming strategy is something new. If the content clicks with the audience, the channel may see further jump in ratings. This is a nice achievement for LifeOK, since the way the shows are airing , there is diverse disparity of viewership and the n number of viwers have liked LifeOK 👏👏.. So opening for a revamped channel has give a good set of numbers comparing to the giant color which is running strong with some shows which are viewer centric

Life OK lags behind market leader big brother Star Plus, Sony Entertainment Television, Colors, Zee TV and Sab.

Media observers say that the channel has pumped in big monies on distribution and promotion of the channel and the daily programming strategy is something new. If the content clicks with the audience, the channel may see further jump in ratings.

Big Brother Starplus is getting its younger brother walk good steps and hope some giant ones in future.😊

Looks like the 20 minute time frame for viewers is something which the channel is giving good focus with a chunk of airing time and story for the show showing dimension and the character and some interesting stories and a blend of new and many who have worked in various channels..
Its a good blend...and I feel 20 minutes is truly convincing and keeps us on the edge of outseats with MD giving is a taste of life and its angles as sutradaar 😳

Now with all these conniving aspects I am sure the boquet of shows will be interesting as they populate the other time slots later as Sach Ka Samana is having its piece of good reality shade

I am super excited to see Apurva back on screen and more the news pour in about the show my dil is going more Dhak Dhak about what is his role..

I could see a blend of his earlier character here the one he started of in television..

Looks like something to do with the glamor world blended with small cities and urban texture..

His character sketch is still not defined, but who are interested in him which makes his role rather inquisitive to me 😳

I am sure he will have a look change to adorn this character...

And its one of the shows next in pipleline after Sach Ka Samana..
With may end by middle of Jan baring the fact the episodes would be 25 episodes as per the articles..

I feel Shapat maybe at 10:40 and Asmaan Kay Aagey , Or Asmaan Say Agey the say and Key seem the same to me 😆 will air at 10:20
