Ragini could hear Ranvir mumble under his bed covers; she sensed his distress and quickly went to his side. She turned on the side lamp and could see he was having nightmare. Ranvir suddenly sat up and took hold of her by her waist. Ranvir's hold was very tight that Ragini could not move, she was stunned by his response. Ragini placed her hand slow on his head and gentle patted his hair soothing him. Ranvirs relaxed his hold and looked up at Ragini.
Ragini: Ranvir? Are you ok?
Ranvir breathing was heavy and he looked very scared. He nodded at Ragini but was unable to speak. Ragini poured him a glass of water. Ranvir gulped down the water in one go. She sat down on the bed next to him.
"Ranvir! What do you see in your nightmares?", she asked.
Ranvir look at her as he wiped the sweat from his brow.
Ranvir:I am on a road, which I can see for miles and something is chasing me then all of a sudden I bang into something..
Ranvir placed his head on Ragini's shoulder and she is surprised by his behaviour. They had started to slowly come close with each other. Ragini lifted her hand and placed it on his face.
Ragini: Are you running from something or running to something.
Ranvir: I don't know? I never thought about it like that.
Ragini: um OK….Why don't you get some rest, we can talk about it tomorrow.
Ranvir: I am not going to be able to sleep, can we talk some more.
Ragini was surprise with what he had said. He moved down the bed and lifted up the covers. Ragini was scared to move.
Ranvir: Listen Ragini I just want to talk nothing more I promise.
Ragini smiled as she thought about how they spent the last couple of day's sight seeing together and she will never forget the riverboat ride. Ranvir had really opened up to her they shared a strange bond. She looked at him and climbed into bed with him.
