Angad Hansija who is playing Alekh, a schizophrenic character in Rajan Shahi\'s Bidaai is a typical Punjabi munda from Chandigarh. He even won the title of Mr. Punjab before he shifted to Mumbai to hunt for the decent break on TV. Punjabi lingo is a hit on the sets of Bidaai and even his Hindi has a total Punjabi accent. So his co-stars have started teasingly given him a cute nickname of Punjabi No.1. On this Angad said, "I speak fluent Punjabi and love to converse in Punjabi as well. Seema Kapoor and Avinash Wadhavan my on-screen parents too are hardcore Punjabis, so I talk to them in typical Punjabi. Even my Hindi has a powerful Punjabi tone so this lead to this unique nickname which sounds more like a David Dhawan movie." He played the role of a schizophrenic Alekh so well that he has convincingly earned the love of audience and since then Angad's career graph has been rising. With the dance reality show Zara Nach Ke Dikha on Star Plus his fan following is also increasing with every passing day. Lucky guy who chose to continue doing TV rather than leaving it for film offers. But if luck fortunes we might just see him on big screen in David Dhawan's next, Punjabi No. 1, right Angad!
