He's confessed to being bored without having his mates Sara Khan and Kinshuk Mahajan anymore in 'Bidaai'. Angad Hasija, a.k.a Alekh, is having tough time these days shooting for 'Bidaai'. This frustration was evident while the actor spoke to this reporter a few days ago.

We asked him to come up with a query (prediction) for oracle Paul on our feature. The actor struggled to come up with anything and asked us only to bail him out. We suggested on asking about the fate of his show, to which he replied that he's been told multiple times in the past that his show will be ending in six months time. That's why he sought to know about the longevity of his show from Paul.

On a serious note we asked how long he will like the show to continue, Hasija replied, "Honestly speaking, we've been around for long. The fatigue factor does start to creep in. I don't think we have much story left to tell. In the current scenario, I don't think the show will last more than a year".

Now that is an honest answer. It is least expected when the actor is continuing his journey with the show. When the actor starts getting tired, one doesn't need to look at TRP or public opinion to take a call on the future of the show.

It was well publicised before only that Bidaai is going to end soon...whether leap or no leap.

Actually Bani, no it wasn't. Bidaai's contract was going to end, but SP could renew it like they have in the past. No one ever came out and said for sure that Bidaai was going to end.

And if people read carefully Angad said:

" In the current scenario, I don't think the show will last more than a year".

Bidaai is still within the top 10 shows..some people might be unhappy, but there are many who actually are enjoying the show still. Even some die hard protesters have acknowledged that they are enjoying the new character of Anmol now and also the kids, and the new track. The new track has also brought into picture many new fans and fan group, evident in this forum also. One cannot generalise that the show is bad or crap.
I made a topic long time back that everything has a shelf life and shows also should end within one or two year time frame. Even if Sara and Kinshuk were in the show, the show should have ended within a reasonable time. After a certain time original concept gets lost.
Star Plus has learnt the lesson from hit shows like Kyunki, Kasauti and what the fate was when a hit show literally had to be kicked out, because it continued for eight years (Kyunki..)

Actually Bani, one CAN generalize and say the show is bad or whatever because of the fact that this is subjective. What you might find interesting, someone else won't.

Also, I wasn't saying anything about the show being bad. I was just correcting the notion you put forward about Bidaai for sure ending because that was never the case. Their contract will be up, yes, just like it was in the past and SP could have renewed it like they did in the past.

Obviously shows have to end, but I feel if Sara and Kinshuk were there, Angad would not have made that statement. If you read his statement he said in the CURRENT scenario, Bidaai will end, however, I believe that he would never have said that if Sara/Kinshuk were there. He would have said I hope it runs a long time like he did a few months ago in an interview when Sara and Kinshuk were still there. :)

yes bani, even i want a show to not run more than 2 years, i am so used to pakistani plays which end in 3 months or bit more..i think he is right with current stroyline,if they want to end it gracefuly they should end it in one year or bit longer to finish it properly...as u said they can show a leap in last episode of show and shwo alekh doing khushi's bidaai as a loving dad.....😃despite being in top 10 or even if it is in top position. I am, not sure what he means by being frustrated, may be he feels he needs more attantion in track. But I am saying from a viewer not apu's fan ..that show has very interesting story at present...who knows kal ko kya hoga
