He was shown mentally disturbed for quite a while and then recovered so now I guess they might show a similar way of recovery with Anmol's help

wonderfully said, i would love it if this can happen, the show has to move on whether some one is there or not.. we cannot only depend on one or two persons, no doubt they made thsi show popular, but it willbe good to see moving this way..

For those who think that only romance is the way to show some acting talent, I recommend them to watch "Ishwar". It is a movie by Anil Kapoor.

No offense to Apurva or his character on the show- but making Alekh better is a TALL ORDER. Apuva's character is Apurva's character...and Sadhna was something wholly different. She was an air in Alekh's life...she lived with him, she was his life partner and his wife. It took even Sadhna more than two years to help bring Alekh out of his condition- and get over the shock he experience in his childhood+ his head injury and along reinjuring his head...

Alekh's recovery included the help of Sadhna most of all, Shlok, Ranvir, a 2nd head injury, agony over Alekh's part...it was a long and arduous process and it's not something Appu's character can do.

Alekh life was Sadhna....and she died in his ARMS. He was basically living with her...so he died with her too, mentally he completely LOST IT and I think he's in worst condition now than he was originally when Salekh married. Did you see him locked that day by Vasu in the room? Alekh used to be in a worst condition than that before Sadhna...he was even TIED up...he was suicidal...and he didn't trust anyone except his worst enemy, Choti Maa...Sadhna came into his life and light up every corner of it...she gave him the status of a husband...and unconditional love...she truly fell in love with him....

No offense to Appu (he's a wonderful actor), but if Alekh becomes normal again with his help...it is a BIG FAT NASTY slap in the face to Sadhna's efforts and a big insult to her...

Anyway he was with Sadhna for approximately 3 years, and Appu's character has been in their lives for 6 years now...there is no way he can cure Alekh...unless he's got some juju magic up his sleeve and he can bring Sadhna back to life.

Yanks28 you're so right....i will refuse to accept anyone but Sadhana making Aalekh better....if the creatives go as far as introducing another girl and create a new 'jodi' i will absolutely be so disgusted.

Part of me fears they're going to try a 'kuch kuch hota hai' style story whereby some school camp teacher will come and help Aalekh ala Kajol style...but that only worked because SRK/Kajol were the main jodi in that film much like Aalekh and Sadhana so they better bring her back and no one else.

Anmol's character is sweet and nice and i appreciate the actor (loved him in Jassi) but Aalekh is a special case and like Yanks28 said this time round he isn't just mentally unstable he's mentally dead, he died the same day Sadhana died and therefore to bring him back this time they have no choice but to bring her back....End Of!

Bechara Aalekh

Angad is a fabulous actor no doubt but the character's alekh's life began with sadhana and ended with sadhana. He is now a dotting friend to those kids who is living the world where he expects to see sadhana return .

Right now Angad isnt get much scope, but I think it's cause they're trying to solve Anmol 's and Rangini's problems first! I do feel bad for Angad though... he's such a good actor and right now all he does is play with the kids, and his character isnt moving at all!

I feel SO bad for Angad.

Not just Angad, but Aalekh too and Sadhana even. She gave her everything to make him normal and she left Khushi with him and he wasn't even given a chance to take care of that.

I would have loved to see Aalekh being a father to his daughter. He could have still called her dost. Ragini would still be raising her because kids need mothers too.

Actually I would have loved to see Aalekh and Ragini raising Khushi and Tamanna together.

Aalekh was made crazy for Apu's character. If Aalekh was normal, he would have handled the business and whatnot so there wouldn't really be any strong reason for Ragini to marry Apu's character which is why the cts made him pagal to suit their storyline.

I dn't think Alek's mental imbalance is due t Anml's entry

he was sp dumb struck and shock of loosing Sadhana that he has become like that

I don't see any informatin saying that he was made to be crazy due to Anmol's entry

That's my opinion yaar.

If Aalekh was mentally sound, then the creatives couldn't justify the remarriage. They are justifying it by showing that Apoorva's character has taken care of everything from business to family. If Aalekh was normal, he would have done all this. There would be no need for the remarriage as Aalekh would take care of Ragini, Vasu, Indrajit, Khushi, Tamanna, and the business. Later on, if Ragini WANTED to marry, then it would be okay, but as we know Ragini was forced into this marriage.

I don't blame Apu's character. I'm blaming the creatives.
