Yea I know ... I get crucified and the chances are high....

BUT YEAH ... I WILL SAY IT LOUDLY:

SAAPNA BABUL KA ... BIDAAI
IS
A
SADISTIC SERIAL

If you are looking for a smile then simply forget it... they only lighten up the situation for an episode or two so that they can make it MORE PATHETIC and MORE SADISTIC for you. There is one justification of this theory in the physical world aswell ... in ancient times, while torturing or beating someone, it was considered a good theory to let the person breath fresh air once or twice ... or get him to rest after a BEATING...so that they can really FEEL the pain properly later on. If you dont give 2 EPISODES of breather, then the viewer becomes numb and probably pain will be felt less. So before the usual dose of consistent SADISTIC PAIN .. a 1 or 2 epi breather 👏

Whether you are of whichever fanbase ... they will not spare you.

Life is all about ups and downs but Bidaai is as though a WWE wrestling match (viewers vs. CT) in which they slam us ... and then give us that one breather which we grasp and open our eyes ... sit up ... JUST TO MEET A FLYING KICK RIGHT ON THE CHIN!!!...

I dunno... i tried to praise them by their love for a character ... but eventually I feel that they really have done too much ... and pay too much emphasis on sadism. I wonder if they have decided that the viewers are basically sadists and thus these kind of gruesome tracks are best for them and their production house's business.

Couldnt they just end it?...NONOOOOOOOOO.... they want some more sadism. GEAR UP ... its all coming up .. more and more ... but yeah ... they'll let you sit up before that enormous flying kick to the chin!

I can understand your POV. Frankly speaking, there has been an overdose of pain, suffering and tears. It's too much.

The rift track was a kick to the chin... Sadhana's death track is a kick to somewhere further south... No more progression after hurting this vital body part (for guys)... Just like how Bidaai cannot progress without Sadhana

BTW IT loved the post and I second Yanks... Best laugh I have had on this forum all week

But yeah people ... even though we know that we can always leave the show ... but just imagine what these producers actually think of us as viewers...

I heard from some people in here about the nature and extent of SADISM spread around the telly world... and whenever something sadistic or bondage is shown - the TRP shoots up.

Do you absolutely disagree that these entertainment people need to share atleast a shred of responsibility and respect for us viewers as STAKE HOLDERS to their enterprise? Its basic accountability .. basic ethics ...

People love to cry and feel miserable? ... is it? ... seems so because nothing seems to effect the statistics better than these kind of pathethic periods...

I think a review on the mindset of Indian viewers is needed ... both from the Entertainers perspect and the Viewers perspective.

Very nice topic IT.
I too dont understand why sadism is spread in teleworld like this. It is difficult to believe people like to cry and feel miserable all the time. Is it really true or producers have mistaken? I have no idea.
You are 100% right, there needs to be a study on the mindset of viewers. I have a feeling, majority of the people dont like to feel miserable. But, it is what given to them.
I will get back to you on this topic again. Bit busy now......

The entertainment industry seems to have come to the conclusion that Indians are very attracted to tragedies ... sad, painful, tearful scenarios ...whether it be stories or music ... ANYTHING ... Sadism RULES ...

u r right...actually, the entertainment industry has forgotten that light-hearted stories can increase the TRP more, which is what they r most concerned.. I sincerely hoped that they had sent Sdahna off to a distant place after the rift track and during that time they could have focussed a track on Ragini, her realisations, her missing Sadhna and then bringing her back home...it would have been so good to see.
