Ummmm as far as i knw there is nthng spcl abt this award cuz this is nt the first time SPA is gvng this award. Even last year bidaai got award in dis category, and Rajan sir took this award nt d characters cuz mre than anyone, its d hard work of d writers n d director n then the actors to make any scene, the "favourite lamha". SPA might have given dis award to sara dis year so that she doesn't feels left out. Or else i dnt see any sense in giving the lamha award to a particular character rather than the whole team.

And yes, though the awards are given to the characters, the credit definately goes to the CTs and writers because they are sketching the characters and giving dialogues to them. Whether it is Vasu and Alekh's beautiful scene of a mom and son or Sadhna and Alekh's beautiful lamha, or Alekh getting best pati or any award in Bidai/SPA, the credit indirectly goes to Cts for sketching the characters and putting life into them. No doubt about that.
