Zarmeeno, lets see it and say it this way,"It is not Sadhana trying to be mahaan, but it is Ct's portraying it that way" .When we say Sadhana being Mahan we are visualizing Sara here trying to look great!
While the truth is Sara is acting according to the Ct's to play the role of Sadhana.
I guess this is the only way we can help ourselves not getting too attached to the characters
and probably avoid futile arguments.
@red ,very well said!👏👏

And So were Ragini, Avni, Naveen, Vasu, Malti, Vinu and Kaushiliya then y bashing of those characters r allowed. When we talk about Sadhana trying to be mahaan we dont talk about Sara Khan, we partciular talk about the character Sadhana and as aa viewer I think I do have the right to express myself about a certain character. In every book, movie, serial etc it is about the characters. People discuss a character and it is their right as you people always say freedom of speech. You cant take that away from anybody.

@Zarmeeno : Good points. But there is always a better way to express one's viewpoint and opinion. Instead of saying "Sadhana trying to be Mahaan", one can write "why are Cvs showing her as Mahaan" or something like that. At the end of the day, Sadhana or Ragini are just fictional characters, they are not writing their own roles in the story.
Also Sadhana never tries to be Mahaan because she never takes credit for any of her sacrifices. There is a difference between an anonymous donor and a person who does charity or donates money openly.
There has been a lot of discussion recently on how Sadhana divorced Alekh. I think instead of saying Sadhana selling her husband, there is a better way to express this point by writing "Sadhana selling her rishta". This makes a lot of difference. Here one is just discussing the act.

Again Anu I have different views on Sadhana. Though I agree with you on the way we express ourselves. But we cant say Y creatives r showing her mahaan coz then again questions comes one ach and every character. That y creatives r showing them like this but again it comes to a discussion about a character.

@bold : You are right.
Its a TV show, the situations and characters are OTT sometimes. lol There is a lack of continuity in the script and abrupt changes in the characters as per Cvs convenience just to suit the track. Its important not to lose our cool and take things personally for these fictional characters.😆

@Green Atleast to what I have read and heard,Raagini has not been called names except "Kali". And that too is very wrong!
Though she has been commented for her actions in the previous track while she was really given to play negative by the creatives!.Her negative shades were so convincing, the good actor Parul is. But there were some member who even defended that and again used it this chance to bad mouth Sadhana.So it outraged the other members twice the amount.Lot of us mostly the neutral viewers would also argued to show that Raagini was indeed negative.You need to call someone bad when she is playing the role of a negative character ,even though it is your favorite character!!!!!!!!!!!!
Coming to Vasu, Anvi, old Malti or even old Kaushi, I bet 99% of us here will not have problem for noting the m for their negative role.

Again you have the right to express your views 100%.
But there is a way for everything. For ex: Lets say you did not like an act of your neighbor/friend, maybe she tried do some sacrificing act and you were not convinced.Would you go and yell at her ? and tell her that she is only acting Mahan?
You would not coz' you know it will hurt her and start a fight.Can we do the same here?Try to express our feelings in a way which does not instigate others?

What I am trying to say overall, is that there is lots of difference in just discussing a particular than just giving a name to them which probably is your choice of language.
Again in this world of varying level of comfortness in using bold language, for some the even the bold words, might not be bad , but for most of us it sounds very instigating!
So lets not forget we are daeling with real people here in the forum, though we will might never be able o see their faces in real life, they all have feelings.We will end up wrecking our good day and mood for some fictional characters which we did not even create!
