I read in one of the posts Sadhna is too hard to believe, she is a character who is hard to be understood by everyone... I'ld like to concentrate on some real-life characters and how people can ,ake effort to make understand them. Its not really difficult to find altruistic characters like Sdahna, although the world now is filled with average minded people I admit....

This morning and afternoon I did two important stuff...I visited an old age home for dying destitutes which is run by Mother Teresa and I was watching the film "Border". Many people might be aware of " Mother Teresa" and also might know the film Border is based on an actual war.

In the dying destitute home, I found many sisters working restlessly for the destitutes and also saw many volunteers who come from all over the world to serve these destitutes. People might say that sisters are bound to do this, but what bout these young volunteers, boys and girls, spending time away from home , serving these dying people, are they mad? What is driving them to do this activity, rather spending time in self-activites. The driving force is that they feel suffering people's pain more than their own. So, there are people like Sadhna, who put others comfort and their "Seva dharm" above their self-comforts and "mera khushi/mera gum".

Next come to the numerous soldiers who give us protection so that we can sleep peaceful nights. Many of them come from many well-do-families, and who do not need to sacrifice their lives or stay away from their beloved for the sake of the country. There are numerous self-less soldiers. I feel these types of people are still more than the average minded people, thats the reason we are still sleeping peacefully in our homes. Are these brave soldiers really hard to be understood or labelled as "egoistic/mahaan" in a sarcastic tone?

Last example, I'ld give of Late Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who sacrificed his life during the last Mumbai Terrorist attack. I read an article about him and his self-less nature...once he was climbing mountain and was very thirsty, so he ran to drink water from a tube well during their short break. But when he reached some civilians wanted him to help with the pump so that they can drink water. Eventually it so happened, he never got the time to drink water...what would you call him...pagal or egoistic that he wanted to prove him "Mahaan" as many people call Sadhna...

There are numerous girls in our society who are like Sadhna and because of them we still see joint families and people believing in the concept of altruism...there was a Mother Teresa, there was a Swami Vivekanand, there are numerous social workers, there are numerous "sipais" of our country who still put others interest before their own and do not even hesitate to lay down their lives for the betterment of others...mind them they all come from families like you and me...Mother Teresa did not become mother teresa in one day....

then why is Sadhna's character so hard to be believed...because of people like Sadhna, the world is still going on as they never hesitate to lay down their lives for the betterment of others, but they do not get one word of appreciation also.....

Bani di i seriosuly dont have words.u descirbed it so wel that while reading i got tears in my eyes hatts off u for brining this topic👏 this was wel needed i was also saying long time..if we ditn see people like sadhna in this world that doesnt mean there are no peoople like here.i knw & i met few people like sadhna..if there was no people like sadhna in this world how would this world survive. think about it. if there wasnt people like sadi in this world ..than this world would be end soon. People bleive this is new generation & they dont belive in all this stuff what about if u born in long time back what u say the samething😕 My grandma dnt watch this show but sometimes she do..but she loves sadi character now i dont have to tel why.she also saying..wish there was more people like sadi in this world...aaj kal aise log kahan milte hain( that is also true) but not excatly yes there are stil people like sadi in this world not only indian but inculding other countreis peope'e also..am proud to say this..that RS sir bring Bidaai & sadi character

the answer to all these will pave the way to the wuestion " can we really not understand characters like Sadhna"...

In every age, there are people like Sadhna, and it is them to drive this society, not the average people...

wat ..i din't get u..
how could u compare sadana wid our our great feedom fighters
u dont even think to compare sadana wid our freedom fighters

It is not a direct comparison between freedom fighters and persons like sadhna. Yes, freedom fighters are too big compared to sadhnas. But persons like sadhnas are similar if you consider one family/house as a country. They are like freedom fighters who fight for any evil against their family.
I remember reading a short story about a couple. Both husband and wife were software engineers. Husband a punjabi and wife was from bangalore. In the husband's family, everyone was in military. Somehow, this fellow went to different line. Wife was very enterprising and was doing great in her company. But suddenly things change as wife meets an accident and looses her memory and her strength and everything. She just was not able to write simple words. She used to be in bed all the time. She had become like a small kid. Husband who was so much in love with her, was totally heart-broken initially. But, he didnt give up. He started talking to her, making her fav food (she used to like only south indian food :) ) and trying to communicate with her all the time. His mother who had come to see them was heart-broken mainly because her son is doing all the house-hold chores where as his ancestors were freedom-fighters. She cried and told him about this to which he replied that battles are not fought only at the borders, it is fought against all the evils/problems which one comes across in daily life. Be it a battle filed, be it in our life. In the end of the story, wife tells her husband that she feels like writing something. Husband becomes so happy hearing this and he says we still have a long way to go.
Mother Theressa didnt fight any battle. But she is not considered anywhere lesser than soldiers.
Sadhna is a virtual character. She doesnt exist actually. But there could be many sadhnas around us. They are not as great as Mother Theressa or freedom fighters. But they fight their own battle to keep their family happy. Their motto behind their deeds are compared. Thats all.

Its people like Sdahna who have the capability/potential of becoming of one Mother Teresa or dying as soldiers of our country...its not people like Ragini or Vasu or Kaushi who live and die in "mera khushi/mera gum mode". This is not bashing any character, there is hard-core reality, as per the on going track...

secondly, Mother Teresa did not fight any battle, but her struggle and life starting from scratch to this level is more than many lives of the soldiers also...she started an organisation and today its the home of millions and millions of people (yes millions, if you look at the long list of her centes)...

Charity begins at home....we dont need to be one Mother Teresa or fight enemies at the battle field, but if we can fight with the ego, pride and evil of our minds and thus can make just one home/one family beautiful and peaceful to live at , its no less than fighting the enemies in the battle field for the sake of our country...if there is one Sadhna or one Ranveer in every family, the picture of this entire world will change...
