Alekh got a seizure due to the shock of Chhoti Maa leaving, for which he was rushed to the hospital for. This was the beginning of his recovery and within a few days, he became normal due to Sadhna's love and affection. His loving feelings for his mother came back and now he loves his mother more than anything.
Alekh joins work and gets so involved that he takes out all his frustration on Sadhna due to stress. Ragini sees this and decides that her and Ranvir must do something about it. Ragini decides that all four of them should go on a trip together.
While packing (and many times before), Ragini feels unwell and Ranvir decides to cancel the trip, along with Sadhna. Ragini tells them not to and tells the three of them to have fun.
During the trip, Alekh is still super involved in his work and does not pay much attention to Sadhna, much to Sadhna & Ranvir's sorrow.
While they are on the trip, Ragini finds out she is pregnant and is super happy, but decides to keep it a secret till Ranvir comes back home.
The following day, a goon is supposed to go after Alekh but goes for Sadhna instead. He starts to tease her and Ranvir comes to the rescue, and thrashes the goon in and out. Ranvir is furious and Sadhna is really worried, as she tries to stop Ranvir. Even after the goon becomes unconscious, Ranvir still beats him up until Sadhna forcefully drags him away.
Ranvir takes the goon to the hospital and the police interrogate Ranvir, for more information. The police force Ranvir to stay in the hospital as they are suspicious of his behaviour.
Ranvir tells Sadhna & Alekh to go home as Alekh doesnt know what happened and Ranvir & Sadhna are not in favour of telling him.
Sadhna & Alekh come home and everyone is wondering where Ranvir went.
Ragini decides to call up Ranvir as she cannot wait to tell him. She tells him the news and Ranvir is super happy. He decides to run away from the hospital and come home.
Ranvir comes home and shares his happiness with Ragini until the police come to the Rajvansh home, telling Ranvir that he is under arrest.
Everyone is shocked, especially Ragini and she becomes depressed.
Everyone finds out about Ragini's pregnancy and they decide that they will not let the current situation affect the baby.
The Rajvanshs hire a lawyer and the lawyer says that Sadhna MUST tell the judge that Ranvir DID NOT hit the goon after he was unconscious.
Everyone emotionally blackmails Sadhna to lie, but at the end, Sadhna cannot lie and tells the truth. Ranvir is sentenced to a year in prison.
Avni tells Ragini the news and she is in disbelief. She is in denial and asks Sadhna when Ranvir will come home and says that she will have a big party for him. Alekh tells Ragini to come to her senes and Ragini is in shock. She pushes Sadhna away and is furious with her.
Ragini has an illusion of Ranvir and falls down the stairs, resulting in a miscarriage. Vasu and Mamiji both poison Ragini's mind towards Sadhna and tell her that Sadhna was responsible for the miscarriage.
Ragini breaks all ties with Sadhna and Vasu kicks Sadhna out of the house. Sadhna ends up at Mamaji's house, much to Mamiji's anger. Everyone in the Sharma house, excluding Mamaji cannot stand the sight of Sadhna and treat her like dirt.
Alekh gets a new business partner, Mallika Mehra. They could not stand the sight of each other at the beginning but Mallika gets awed by Alekh's charm and starts to fall for him.
Mamaji gets a job as Mallika's chapraasi. Vinu finds out and is furious that Mamaji got such a "low-class" job.
Mamaji saves Mallika from an accident and breaks his arm. Sadhna decides to take Mamaji's place and she becomes Mallika's personal assistant.
Because Alekh and Mallika are business partners, Alekh is usually at Mehra Industries. Sadhna and Alekh bump into each other many times and share many eyelocks. Mallika falls in love with Alekh, and does not even get a clue that Sadhna & Alekh are married.
Ranvir is out of jail, due to Sadhna's help and comes home. He asks where Sadhna is and nobody knows what to say to him. Ragini tells Ranvir that she got a miscarriage and he is shocked. He then decides that he must clear the misunderstandings between Sadhna & Ragini and Sadhna & Alekh.
Mamiji's condition becomes worse and worse by day. The Sharmas decide to take her to the hospital for a check-up. The doctors give the report to Sadhna and Sadhna finds out that Mamiji has a brain clot. Sadhna is shocked and decides that she must do something.
Sadhna finds out that the operation will cost 5 lakhs and they need to do it ASAP. Sadhna becomes very tense.
Sadhna finds out about a dance competition and after finding out that the prize is 5 lakhs, she decides to participate. She finds a dance-teacher and practices for 4 days STRAIGHT.
Ragini is also participating but Sadhna & Ragini are not aware of this fact. Vasu figures it out but decides to remain mum.
Vasu tells Sadhna that she will give her 5 lakhs if she signs the divorce papers so that Alekh can marry Mallika. Sadhna refuses and says that she will not do anything as such, as she has doubts that Alekh has no clue about the papers.
The day of the dance competition comes and Sadhna & Ragini both perform. Right after Sadhna's performance, Ragini finds out that Sadhna is participating and she appears in front of Sadhna. Sadhna and Ragini are both SHOCKED and are in disbelief.
The judges decide that because Sadhna and Ragini were both so good, they will have a final face-off...same song, same time. Sadhna refuses to participate as she overhears Ragini telling Ranvir that if Ragini loses, she will never be able to get up again. Ragini tells Ranvir that Sadhna is doing this to make her look bad, because Vasu tells Ragini the same thing.
Sadhna tells her dance teacher that there is no way that she will participate, for Ragini's sake. Her dance teacher says that she must do it for her Mamiji's sake and Sadhna is hesitant.
At the end, both decide to perform. They both perform on Mujhe Rang De. Towards the end of the performance, Sadhna gets flashbacks of what Ragini told Ranvir and Ragini's depression. Sadhna falls down on purpose to make Ragini win and runs off stage. Everyone is confused.
The judges declare Ragini the winner and Sadhna signs the divorce papers to get the 5 lakhs.
Shortly, Alekh confesses his love for Sadhna in front of Ranvir and tells Ranvir that he must get her back and will do anything for her.
The following day, Alekh dreams of Sadhna in Mallika, and tells his "dream" Sadhna that he loves her. It is in fact Mallika who is standing in front of him and she interprets that Alekh loves her. Alekh is shocked.
Vasu tells Alekh that Sadhna signed the divorce paper, out of her OWN will and Alekh is furious.
He goes to Sadhna and asks her if Vasu is telling the truth. Sadhna accepts that she signed them but Alekh does not let her explain any further.
Alekh agrees to marry Mallika and Vasu & Mallika are overjoyed.
Mamiji's operation is successful but Vinu & Mamaji are confused, regarding where Sadhna got the money from as they have no idea about the competition or the papers.
Sadhna tells everyone that Vinu arranged the money and asks Vinu to remain mum regarding this matter.
Alekh is heartbroken and tells Ragini about the divorce papers. Ragini is shocked and asks Alekh not to break his marriage for her sake.
Ragini goes to the Sharma house and tells everyone about the divorce papers. Everyone critisizes Sadhna and Sadhna remains mum, as Vasu told Sadhna that she cannot tell anyone of this matter.
Ragini goes home and finds out about Alekh and Mallika's marriage. She is shocked and gets a vibe that something is not right.
Ragini overhears Sadhna's dance teacher speaking with Sadhna and hears that Sadhna participated for her Mamiji's sake. Ragini is shocked and decides to clarify the truth with the dance-teacher.
Sadhna's dance teacher tells Ragini that Sadhna lost on purpose for Ragini's sake and that she needed the money for the operation. She praises Sadhna and tells Ragini to take care of her gem of a sister. Ragini is in disbelief and asks Vinu who arranged the money for the operation. Vinu admits it was Sadhna and Ragini is shocked.
Vasu and Indrajit are arguing after he finds out why Sadhna married Alekh and why she divorced Alekh. Vasu spills the beans regarding this matter and tells him that Sadhna married Alekh to unmortgage the Sharma house and so that Ragini could marry Ranvir. She also tells him that Sadhna signed the papers due to the operation.
Ragini overhears this conversation and is completely shocked. She remembers all the things she said to Sadhna and remembers Vasu-Indrajit's conversation. She sits in the dark and starts to shiver.
Ranvir comes home and sees Ragini in the dark, and is confused. He asks her what happened and Ragini says she is not capable of anyone's love. Ragini tells Ranvir to take her to Mamaji's house now and a confused Ranvir agrees.
Ragini shows up at the door and asks Mamaji where Sadhna is. Ragini runs upstairs and sees Sadhna crying in her room.
Ragini apologizes to Sadhna and breaks down in front of her. (Aah, this scene was absolutely BEAUTIFUL...its a must-watch, I cant explain it in words)
Ragini drags Sadhna downstairs and tells everyone about Sadhna's sacrifices. Everyone is shocked. Mamiji is in disbelief and leaves the room.
Sadhna faints in Ragini's arms and everyone is worried. Sadhna is lying on Ragini's lap shortly and becomes conscious. She tells Sadhna that she will never leave her and that she is always with her. Ragini pats Sadhna to sleep, after everyone leaves.
Ranvir tells Ragini to stay with Sadhna for the night and tells her that they must stop the engagement. Ragini agrees.
Sadhna & Ragini are remembering old times, while on the terrace. They enjoy themselves a lot and Ragini asks Sadhna about Alekh. Sadhna does not want to talk about it and Sadhna goes into Ragini's arms. Ragini promises herself that she will bring every bit of happiness back in Sadhna's life.
Mamiji comes on the terrace and breaks down in front of Sadhna. She apologizes to her and tells Sadhna that she is her mother. Sadhna is super happy and gets emotional. Sadhna & Mamiji hug and Ragini joins in later.
The Sharma parivaar along with Ranvir & Ragini decide that they must get Sadhna justice and must bring back the happiness in her life. Ragini has a plan and tells everyone. Everyone agrees.
The engagement is all set to happen tomorrow...lets see what happens. 😉
