Age old proverb, still applicable in all times, especially this modern age. Most applicable to women. Its not necessary for woman to sit back at home and cook only, and act as a doormat for husbands. I am very happy how Sadhna and Ragini are trying to evolve from those household issues and trying to make a new start for themselves. I feel Ranveer has made the apt decision by focussing Ragini's attention to something which she would love to nurture. People start losing calm nature and start to imagine many weird stuff when they are alone. I have seen this happening with many Indian girls who come to US as dependents. They have nothing to do, other than sit back home, eat excessively, gain weight and talk shit and spread baseless rumors. Its not their fault, rather their idleness, which is helping the vices to grow in them even without their notice.

I am very happy that Director's kut is showing us this excellent example as to show girls should become independent in this age...Our parents spend the same time and money to give us education as they on our brothers, so why should girls sit back home?????????

Actually not only in Bidaai, in other shows also, you will find characters, esp females, who are creating unnecessary troubles and doing "main or mera" are the ones, who have nothing to do...I mean do something fruitful instead of being just a bed decorator...

Having some kind of activity is important for any person...be it man or woman...but I agree a woman's idle brain is much more dangerous. But when I look at my mom...she was very educated but never worked and took care of her 3 kids. My dad being busy couldnt spend too much time with us...but my mom was always there for us....so I guess it also depends on a person's character too...Poeple like Sadhna can be at home an still do some thing constructive in their life...help out others in family etc. ....where as people like Malti, Avni etc should be kept as busy as possible.

you are right!!! it all depends on the person. But definitely people like Malti, Avni if kept engaged a bit, things might look wiser for them.
when I had my breaks, my parents used to send me to volunteer in orphanages and old age homes, just to get me have a feel that there are so many unfortunate poeple in this world, who needs love and care. This was also a sort of engagement for me as also it helped me to gain maturity and stability in my character.

now I know why your topics and posts are so mature...I love them....
As I said in one of my posts, Ragini has a supportive husband and lots of money and resources to do some thing for less fortunate people...she has been through some hardships in life and has an idea of people suffering. More importantly, She is not an evil person , she can see people happy and hence she is the most qualified for doing good to society.... I am sorry to go off topic...but I want to say I am not against Ragini, I am only dissapointed with her because there were so many other ways to deal with her problem than throwing her sister out on streets...I am unable to digest the fact that she has actually done that and has stood by it after so many days of her miscarriage. She can never be the sweet old Ragini for me who never thought evil even to her enemies.

Sometimes, young people do mistakes, but elders should put them back in track. Along with Mamaji, if Kaushi, Vasu, Indrajeet could have dealt with Ragini in a mature way, things would have been different. Actually, majority of the people in our society, take advantage of people's naivity and instigate. Ragini was already in pain and these people took full advantage of that.
I want Ragini and Sadhna to patch up definitely, but it should be more realistic. I dont want to see Ragini and Ranveer helping in uniting Sadhna and Alekh, and thus making the balance equal. Sisters' relationship can never be dealt in "give and take" way. I would rather like to see how two sisters solve their own differences without the involvement of spouses..
