Rajan Shahi's Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai recently faced trouble from a women's group for one of their tracks in which two cousins married in the same family are being shown drifting apart with differences growing day-by-day. The ladies demanded that the sisters should be shown to be affectionate minus any animosity. The women marched into the set where Shahi, Sara Khan (Sadhna) and Parul Chauhan (Ragini) were shooting. Later the trio met the ladies and pacified them , stating that it is only a TV show and they are playing on-screen characters. Confirming this, Shahi said, "It's true the shoot was stalled for three hours. Initially I was upset, but then I realised that they regularly watch the show, are emotionally attached to the characters and want to see them happy."
